Moreover, this was not Shi Yi's limit. After all, he had shown no great strain when lifting the Divine Iron Spear.
Seeing this, Old Golden Spider's eyes gleamed, and he took out another cauldron with three legs and two handles.
"This cauldron was cast from divine stone produced by Southern Falling Divine Mountain and weighs ninety thousand jin. Yi, see whether you can lift it."
Clang!
The ninety-thousand-jin Divine Cauldron dropped from Old Golden Spider's hands and struck the ground with a tremendous crash.
Shi Yi nodded without saying anything more. He stepped before the Divine Cauldron again and gripped two of its legs with his hands. Then his legs, arms, waist, and abdomen all exerted force at once.
The Divine Cauldron rose straight off the ground, shooting up above Shi Yi's head.
"Even ninety thousand jin cannot stop you?"
Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider was utterly astonished.
This was merely a five-year-old human child, yet his physical strength alone had reached ninety thousand jin. What did that mean? He was nearly approaching pureblood creatures at the same level.
The body was supposed to be the weakness of someone with double pupils. Shi Yi's true prowess lay in his mystical arts, and his double pupils were almost impossible to counter.
Now even his weakness was nearly equal to the strength of pureblood creatures. How were those pureblood creatures supposed to bear that?
Watching Shi Yi hold the ninety-thousand-jin Divine Cauldron with strength to spare, Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider steeled himself, took a hundred-thousand-jin halberd from his storage space, and tossed it onto the ground.
Thud!
The great halberd struck the ground. The sound of its landing alone revealed how heavy this demonic weapon was.
"This is the hundred-thousand-jin Azure Demon Halberd. It was my weapon when I was in the blood moving realm. Back then, I could only swing it by combining the divine radiance in my blood with my physical strength.
"With physical strength alone, I could not even lift it. Yi, if you can raise it, that will mean your accomplishments in the path of the body are already no weaker than those of pureblood creatures at the same level."
Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider explained.
"A hundred thousand jin?"
Not far away, Shi Ziteng's heart stirred with surprise. Among creatures in the blood moving realm, that number had always belonged exclusively to purebloods. No human had ever reached it-at least, Shi Ziteng had never heard of one.
Was he about to witness a miracle with his own eyes?
Shi Yi nodded and stepped before the Azure Demon Halberd. One hand gripped its handle firmly, while the other clasped its shaft. With a loud shout, he exerted all his strength, veins visibly bulging along his arms.
Under Shi Yi's full effort, the hundred-thousand-jin Azure Demon Halberd rose.
Although his arms trembled slightly, they never faltered. In the end, he forced the Azure Demon Halberd above his head.
"That is enough. Put it down."
Old Golden Spider could tell that this was probably Shi Yi's current limit.
Hearing this, Shi Yi released his strength and stepped backward, letting the Azure Demon Halberd fall with a heavy crash.
By now, Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider was almost speechless. Shi Ziteng's breathing grew rapid, and even his heart stopped beating.
What had he just seen? A five-year-old human had lifted a hundred-thousand-jin halberd with both arms.
If word of this reached the Stone Kingdom, it would surely send tremendous shock waves through it.
Even across the entire Desolate Region, Shi Yi was one of a kind. He had surpassed humanity's limits, enough to make others reconsider this race whose bodies were weak by nature.
And this was without Shi Yi using the Supreme Bone. If he removed his restrictions, fully connected with the Supreme Bone, and allowed supreme blood to flow throughout his body, his achievements would likely be even greater.
Although the two venerables of Demon Spirit Lake and Shi Ziteng did not know why Shi Yi refused to accept the Supreme Bone, they did not speak up to interfere. With his double pupils, Shi Yi did not need them to plan too much for him. They only needed to provide him with sufficient resources and protection.
"Truly breathtaking. Never did I imagine that one day a human could stand shoulder to shoulder with pureblood creatures in physical prowess. It is simply inconceivable." In the end, this was all Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider could say.
Old Golden Spider nodded repeatedly. He knew they had nurtured a monster, invincible in mystical arts and invincible in body as well. Even the strongest successor of a Primordial Divine Mountain would feel their scalp prickle before a Shi Yi like this.
Yet Shi Yi was not satisfied. A hundred thousand jin with both hands merely put him on par with pureblood creatures. Compared with Shi Hao's accomplishments, he was still far behind-not even halfway there. He still had a long road ahead.
Fortunately, Shi Yi was still young and had plenty of time to strive for the true blood moving extreme realm.
Childhood was precisely the time when the body grew, and the strength of one's blood and vital energy would naturally increase with age.
Of course, relying on natural growth alone was nowhere near enough. He would need more opportunities and effort.
Seeing Shi Yi standing there expressionless and deep in thought, the two spiders exchanged astonished glances. Was he still dissatisfied with a hundred thousand jin in both hands? Could he really intend to pursue that elusive, utterly unattainable feat of producing a hundred and eight thousand jin with a single swing of one arm?
"Yi, your physical accomplishments are already extraordinary. Why torment yourself over such an elusive goal?" Old Golden Spider consoled him.
By now, the two venerables regarded Shi Yi as their own child. They sincerely wanted to nurture him into a wielder of double pupils who would be invincible throughout the Desolate Region.
"Patriarch, my goal has not changed. A hundred thousand jin is far from my limit," Shi Yi replied.
Seeing his determination, the two venerables could not continue trying to dissuade him.
"In ten months, the Primordial Divine Mountains will hold their once-in-a-decade blood pool baptism. It is an opportunity to help you break through your limits. Each Primordial Divine Mountain has only two places, restricted to creatures in the blood moving realm.
"When the time comes, you will represent our Demon Spirit Lake and go together with a pureblood youngster from our clan's younger generation." Suddenly, Old Golden Spider revealed this news.
Shi Yi's heart stirred. A blood pool baptism?
Beside him, realization dawned on Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider's and Shi Ziteng's faces. Had Old Golden Spider not mentioned it, they would not have remembered it.
"Indeed, the blood pool baptism is almost upon us. It should be of some help to Yi," Azure Demon Black-Eyed Spider said with a nod.
"May I ask you two patriarchs what the blood pool baptism is?" Shi Yi asked softly.
He knew very well that without other opportunities, it would be difficult to approach his ultimate goal through arduous strength training alone. Thus, he very much wanted to know what this so-called blood pool baptism was.
"The blood pool baptism is exclusive to the Primordial Divine Mountains. It is only natural that your ancient human kingdoms know nothing about it.
"It is a long story. During the ancient era, a world-shaking war erupted in the lower realm, and a ruin once again saw the light of day. It was connected to Qilin, one of the primordial Ten Fiends.
"At the time, many factions fought for control of that secret realm. In the end, the founding ancestors of the Primordial Divine Mountains joined forces and conquered it.
"Although those founding ancestors failed to find the qilin inheritance in the ruins, they did gain something. In an area that only creatures in the blood moving realm could enter, they discovered a blood pool. Legend held that it was where Qilin's young underwent baptism, and it offered tremendous benefits to creatures in the blood moving realm.
"And so, the factions of the Primordial Divine Mountains agreed to send outstanding descendants of their respective races to that blood pool for baptism once every ten years."
