Su Ya lay sprawled across the sofa, snoring softly.
She had started work at six in the morning, and by now seven or eight hours had passed. Apart from breakfast and lunch, she had barely had any time to rest. Especially today, when Miss had received four or five groups of visitors in succession, Su Ya, temporarily serving as a maid, had been run ragged.
So, after quickly gnawing through two apples for lunch, Su Ya took advantage of the empty living room to plunge headfirst into the soft Dragon Hide Sofa, intending to take a short nap.
After all, Head Maid Su Man was out on business today, the nannies were praying in the Quiet Room, and Miss had gone out too. A little nap would not matter. It would not matter at all.
With that thought in mind, the Little Fox Girl quickly drifted into sleep.
In her dream, she wore a snowy white little dress and went barefoot, playing hide-and-seek on the soft grass with an equally white Little Fox. That Little Fox was so silly. Whenever it hid, it only covered its head, leaving its enormous tail exposed, so Su Ya caught it every time.
Miss sat on a swing at the edge of the grass, holding a book and reading as she swayed.
Head Maid Su Man had a stack of books slung over her left shoulder, a large teapot over her right, a complete tea set hanging from her chest, and a huge fruit platter balanced on her head. She was so busy she was practically running on all fours, without even the strength to cry out.
The sight made Su Ya laugh even more happily.
"My turn!"
As Su Ya slept, she smacked her lips and blissfully shifted into a more comfortable position.
