Sunlight streamed through the transparent glass, falling between the red flowerpots on the sill. The Squidfoot Grass spread its slender leaves freely, greedily drinking in the sunlight falling from the sky.
Zheng Qing stood before the flowerpots, beside the narrow desk.

To his right stood Liu Feifei and Nicholas. Liu Feifei bit her lip, her face tense, while Nicholas rested a hand on her shoulder, looking grave.
Li Meng squatted down again, holding Maodou's head as she looked toward her cousin. Jiang Yu folded her arms and looked at Zheng Qing, a trace of inquiry in her eyes.
Zheng Qing repeated the message Maodou had conveyed to him. Unlike before, however, he described it in greater detail and added some of his own speculation.

It had to be said that, to an ordinary person, Zheng Qing's guess sounded somewhat absurd.
Whether it was the Magical Creature tribes in the Silent Forest or the two somewhat troublesome demons Maodou had mentioned, they might have posed a serious threat to young first-year wizards like them. But to First University, they were not even an inconvenience. Calling them a minor irritation would have been giving them too much credit.
