Fatty Xin knew full well what the school newspaper's moral standards were like.

A little later, while Zheng Qing was still scribbling away in the library, working on his Potion Class and Magical Creatures Studies assignments, a gigantic paper crane gracefully skimmed over the rows of towering bookshelves and landed on the young wizard's desk. It stirred up a small gust that sent the parchment on the desk curling everywhere, nearly knocking over his inkstone.

"Holy crap, it's huge!"

Zheng Qing spread his arms like a mother hen shielding her chicks, protecting his homework as he stared at the paper crane as though he had seen a ghost. "Paper cranes can get this big?"

"It's a school newspaper."

Xiao Xiao took one glance and guessed the paper crane's identity. "The fatty probably sent it to you... Weren't you curious about how the school newspaper would talk about what happened last night?"

"He could've waited until I got back to the dorm tonight." Zheng Qing complained, but his hands did not refuse it. He swiftly dismantled the paper crane.

Sure enough, it was the school newspaper, though unfortunately it contained only one page.

Like the Beta Town Post, the school newspaper had published a statement in the corner of its front page. But compared with the Post's statement, this one was clearly much larger:

"Solemn Statement"

"At approximately 9:40 p.m. on September 11th (the twenty-third day of the seventh lunar month, the Jichou year, Guiyou month, Jiwei day), some wizards in certain areas of the school began, without any factual basis and relying solely on hearsay, to systematically and extensively spread false information about Professor Yao Xiaomi. Upon discovering this situation, the school immediately sent letters to the Archwizard Council and the Supreme Court of Danhaag to lawfully protect its rights.
