For students of First University, credits were a very important concept.

But they were not difficult to obtain.

Passing assessments for elective courses earned Basic Credits, outstanding classroom performance earned Reward Credits, volunteering during the School Hunt Competition also earned Reward Credits, and there were hunting team hauls, private student transactions, gambling, and so on. It could be said that First University provided every student with ample ways to earn credits.

Zheng Qing earned credits at nearly twice the rate of an ordinary student, so theoretically, meeting the requirements for early graduation would not be difficult.

But theory and reality were always liable to clash.

As young wizards studied, they constantly needed to use credits to exchange for the various Magic materials required for magical experiments, or pay credits to acquire magical techniques beyond what books taught. Added to that were the costs of the school's many laboratories, hunting grounds, libraries, and other facilities, as well as unexpected "deductions." The actual consumption of credits was therefore enormous, and many students only discovered near the end
