That was the only answer that surfaced in Zheng Qing's mind after he heard the Black Gemstone Cat relay the question from the owner of Qingqiu Mansion. He was absolutely certain that Su Shijun's question had no correct answer. Answering rashly would lead to only two outcomes: courting death or committing suicide.
And neither outcome was one he wanted.
"Did you hear me?"
The Black Gemstone Cat waved a paw in front of the wizard, its tone unfriendly. "You'll have to attend the next paper discussion yourself... I've never understood why you'd hand something that requires intense mental effort to a brainless rock."
The wizard glanced at his avatar—he had seen people insult others, but never anyone insult themselves like this—then it dawned on him that this fellow was his avatar. If it was insulting itself, didn't that amount to insulting him?
Well, there didn't seem to be much difference between those two ways of putting it anyway.
While the young man was still pondering the subtle distinction between those two kinds of "insulting himself," the Black Gemstone Cat, having delivered its message, flicked its tail and sauntered out of the dorm room.
