Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed professors, faculty, and students of First University, as well as guests from the Alliance and beyond its borders, good afternoon.
I was delighted to stand here today, speaking on behalf of Beta Town North District; on behalf of the centaur tribe, the Minotaur tribe, and the giant tribe of Silent Forest; on behalf of the Merfolk Tribe of Linzhong Lake; on behalf of the Houyhnhnm tribe, the newly born ratfolk, and the ancient Gypsy Witch Coven; on behalf of countless marginalized groups in the Wizarding World, to make our voices heard.
This was an occasion of many prides.
From this day forth, the Edge Wizards of the Alliance could proudly declare that they had their own academy at First University; First University could proudly declare that it would not abandon even the smallest part of the Alliance's future; and the Alliance could proudly declare that this was an age of unity, a great age, an age filled with hope.
First and foremost, we must thank Madam Colmar de Genie.
A young witch, guided by pure and unwavering conviction, overcame countless difficulties. She tried to help a group of children huddled at the edge of the Wizarding World truly master magic, then tried to send them to First University to receive the most orthodox magical education. It was a task that sounded extraordinary, and nearly impossible to accomplish.
Yet she ultimately succeeded.
Her conviction was like a seed, spreading among one wizarding community after another, steadily growing stronger, gradually gathering the faith of all Edge Wizards. In the end, it grew into a towering tree, helping all Edge Wizards climb from the ground into the sky.
This was her victory.
It was also the victory of First University.
