Of course, during the violent explosion just now, Duke Milton's bat wings had been mangled beyond recognition, like a sheet of rice paper a child had thrown into water, soaked through, then fished back out—wrinkled and tattered.
Farther away, the Wanderer Wizard sat calmly atop a Tree stump, his legs dangling as he leisurely smoked a cigar. He had already removed his mask, revealing an aged yet clean face. He looked as though the spell just now had not affected him at all.
"Where is he?" The Rat Wizard stubbornly looked from side to side, repeating the question from a few seconds earlier.
Duke Milton had just put away his bat wings and returned to human form. He was currently shaking his head with all his might, trying to dispel the mental chaos and tremors in his soul caused by the impact. Naturally, he did not respond to the Rat Wizard's question.
