After sensing what was happening to Yu Feng's little sword, Yun Tian immediately opened a spatial passage and went over. He arrived just in time to see the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader attacking the palace, which was protected by nothing but a dim barrier. Yun Tian went straight inside and found Yu Feng watching the situation in the city through a crystal ball. Things looked grim. He sneaked up behind her and wrapped her in his arms. Startled, Yu Feng was about to struggle fiercely, but when she turned and saw Yun Tian, she threw herself into his embrace.
"Brother Yun Tian, what are you doing here?"
"You have the nerve to ask? If I hadn't come, those people outside would have taken my little Yu Feng away."
"I couldn't let those people bully my little Yu Feng."
"So, Brother Yun Tian, you came because you were worried about me?"
"Yes, that's part of it. The other reason was to show you something." With that, he showed Yu Feng what he had previously shown Yu Yin. Yu Feng closed her eyes, clearly digesting the information. After a while, she opened them and looked at Yun Tian.
"Brother Yun Tian, is all of that true?"
"Yes."
"Then your strength really is unbeatable, Brother Yun Tian?"
"That's right."
"Then why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"You have me, don't you? I didn't want you worrying about these things. All you need to do is live happily every day."
"Mm." Yu Feng was rather touched by Yun Tian's explanation.
Outside the palace,
The Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader was directing the Monster Legion's assault on the barrier, which was already covered in cracks.

"Who are you? Where's that woman, Yu Feng?"
"Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader, we finally meet. As for who I am, I'm just an ordinary man with a few skills. Naturally, I've already sent Yu Feng away."
"Oh? Then why did you stay?"
"I only stayed to meet you and say hello. After all, we'll have plenty of dealings with each other in the future. Well, now that I've had a look, you're nothing special. I'm ready to leave."
"Hmph! I'm afraid you won't be leaving." Although this was the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader's first time meeting Yun Tian, he disliked him intensely. Yun Tian looked at the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader.
"I'm afraid you're celebrating too soon."
Then he snapped his fingers. Numerous shadows rose from the ground-the Shadowkhan themselves. (Where had the Shadowkhan come from? The System Shop, of course, and they were even the enhanced ProMax version.) Yun Tian waved his hand, and the Shadowkhan charged forward, mopping up the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader's subordinates like so much cannon fodder.
"Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader, who's the incompetent one now?"
The Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader's face darkened. Just then, Yun Tian added,
"Can you even perform, you scrawny runt?"
At those words, the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader went red with rage. The first remark could have referred to his useless subordinates, since he hadn't acted yet, but the second was a direct insult to his dignity as a man. How could he possibly tolerate that? And so,
"Damn you! Don't get cocky! Demon Soldier Tiger Soul, transform!"
As the signature background music for a Divine Weapon transformation began to play, the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader started transforming. Watching him, Yun Tian wondered why nobody ever launched a surprise attack to interrupt an enemy's transformation. Why did they always have to wait until the transformation was complete before fighting? He had wondered about that back when he watched television. Since the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader was transforming right now, this was the perfect opportunity to try it. Yun Tian immediately fired an attack at him mid-transformation, interrupting it outright. Both the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader and Tiger Soul fell to the ground. The Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader was utterly bewildered. What's going on? Wasn't I transforming? Why did I fall? But when he saw Yun Tian's pose, he immediately understood. Yun Tian had actually attacked him while he was transforming, cutting his transformation short.
"You have no martial honor! You actually interrupted my transformation! You launched a sneak attack! You can't play fair, you little piece of trash! I look down on you! Ptooey!"
Watching the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader curse at him, Yun Tian said,
"Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader, if you're bad at this, practice more."
"Don't blame the bumpy road when your own legs are no good."
"If you can't handle the game, don't play."
The two launched straight into a slanging match. They traded insults for quite a while before finally stopping, perhaps because one of them had gotten tired. Yun Tian looked at the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader.
"Well, Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader, I've had my fun, so I'll be going now. Bye-bye! I look forward to our next meeting."
With that, Yun Tian vanished. After seeing him leave, the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader finally lost all restraint.
"Damn you! This isn't over!"
