Beiming Xue 1

Yun Tian and Bailing sped across the snow, but Beiming Xue was in grave danger. The enemies behind her were drawing ever closer.

"What should we do, Miss A Xue?"

Beiming Xue looked at the enemies behind her, weighing every possible option. Finally, her gaze fell on their supplies, and an idea struck her.

"Shennong Beast, I have an idea. We can..."

"But, Miss A Xue, that would mean losing all our supplies. Even if we escaped, we wouldn't be able to survive."

"We can't worry about that now. Let's shake off the enemies first."

Once the two agreed, they put their plan into action.

When their pursuers caught up, they found no one, only some supplies scattered by the edge of a cliff.

"Boss, did they jump off?"

"Do we keep chasing them, then?"

After confirming that they were really gone, Beiming Xue finally came out of hiding.

As she cried, she suddenly grabbed Dabai beside her and buried herself against him, leaving Dabai looking utterly miserable.

"Bailing, what on earth are you watching? I don't understand what's so great about it."

"Hmph, Brother Yun, what do you know?"

"All right, all right. I don't understand. I don't understand."

Yun Tian felt helpless. Before he transmigrated, girls loved watching this stuff. After he transmigrated, girls still loved watching it. Did girls everywhere in the universe love these shows?

"Ling'er, do all girls like watching romantic dramas?"

Ling'er did not answer.

Hearing what sounded like a hint of jealousy in her words, Yun Tian went over to Ling'er.

"Ling'er, are you jealous?"

Yun Tian had blurted out exactly what she was thinking.

Ling'er's face instantly turned red, but she still tried to bluff her way through. "Nonsense! Why would I be jealous over you?"

At the sight of her adorable expression, Yun Tian could not resist pulling her into his arms and kissing her. Ling'er was stunned. She had never expected him to kiss her outright. Despite her shock, she did not resist. Instead, she wrapped her arms around him and returned his kiss. Only after quite some time did they part.

Yun Tian looked down at Ling'er in his arms, her eyes shimmering with desire. The sight of her made him want to love her thoroughly, so without another word, he scooped her up and carried her toward the bed. Time passed quickly. Before long, Yun Tian lay in bed with Ling'er in his arms, the two savoring each other's warmth.

"Ling'er, are you still jealous?"

Ling'er nestled quietly in Yun Tian's arms. As he felt her body against him, he had to admit that she had the best figure, even better than Yu Yin's.

"Not anymore."

"Ling'er, don't stay in here. Come out and have fun with me."

"Really, Brother Tian?"

"Yes. And call me husband," he said, giving her a light pat on the head.

Ling'er felt Yun Tian's hand resting on her head and the warmth of his body.

"Mm, I understand, husband."

The two cuddled in bed for a while longer before getting up at daybreak. Ling'er carefully put away the bloodstained sheet. Once they had tidied up, they returned to the vehicle. Bailing was puzzled to see Yun Tian suddenly appear with another girl beside him, so she asked him about it. Yun Tian told her what had happened the previous night, and Bailing immediately went over to Ling'er.

"Sister Ling'er, did Brother Yun do anything to you while he was with you all night?"

It was only a single sound, but it said everything.

At Ling'er's reply, a blush crept across Bailing's face.

"Then why hasn't Brother Yun done anything to me yet?"

"Please, save Miss A Xue!"

The Shennong Beast collapsed unconscious as soon as it finished speaking. Yun Tian knew immediately that Beiming Xue must be in serious trouble. He spread his mental power across the entire Beiming Xue Snowfield and located her at once. After telling Bailing and Ling'er to look after the Shennong Beast, he went straight to her. When he arrived, he found Beiming Xue curled up in an ice cave, her lips purple from the cold. He quickly gathered her into his arms and used his spiritual power to restore her body. Her consciousness gradually returned. Feeling his warmth, Beiming Xue instinctively burrowed into his embrace, curling up against him like a kitten. Once Yun Tian saw that her condition had improved, he took her straight back to the vehicle. When Bailing and Ling'er saw him return with another girl in his arms, Ling'er said to Bailing,

"See? I told you our husband would definitely bring back a girl."

Yun Tian laid Beiming Xue on the bed, his expression darkening at their words.

"No, it isn't. At least, not right now. I already had feelings for both of you, but she's different."

Ling'er picked up on the implication in his words.

"So you mean it will be true later?"

"Uh, I think we should change the subject."

None of them noticed Beiming Xue's eyelids twitch.
