Background / History

Ling'er initially communicates with Yun Tian as his system, introducing his status panel and explaining how attribute increases work. She also explains that some attributes become available only after he enters the corresponding world. When he maximizes his attributes, she warns him that uncontrolled strength could destroy their current world and directs him to strength-control techniques in the System Shop 1 2.

After arriving in the world of Shenbing Kids, Yun Tian asks the system to take human form. She appears as a little girl, and he names her Ling'er, persuading her to address him as “Brother Tian” rather than “Host.” She then helps him obtain the divine weapon beasts he names Little Qing and Little Bai. The group settles in a courtyard in Nangong City, having arrived forty years before the original story begins 3 4.

During their travels through the Beiming Xue Snowfield, Ling'er admits that she feels lonely remaining in Yun Tian’s internal space while Bailing accompanies him outside. Their relationship becomes romantic, and Yun Tian invites her to join his daily travels rather than remain alone. Their exchanges are often playful rather than formal, despite her original role as his system 4 6 36.

She is emotionally expressive and eager for companionship. Romantic dramas move her to tears, and she initially feels jealous of Bailing’s opportunities to spend time with Yun Tian. Once included in his travels, she enthusiastically joins recreational activities, reminds him of his camping promise, and coaxes him into forgiving her and Bailing after a disastrous gaming session 17 18 21 22.

Ling'er is protective of the girls who join their household. She defends Beiming Xue from embarrassing teasing, reassures Dongfang Tiexin after her memories return, and immediately offers Li Yue a home after learning that demon beasts killed her family. That sympathy does not extend to Shen Yue: she urges Yun Tian to cripple him and delivers an additional palm strike before leaving 19 22 39 40 41.
