Agreeing to Leave

Yu Yan looked grave. She could not discern this outsider's cultivation, and Yun Tian sensed her probing as well. Trying to probe him was simply impossible. As Yun Tian drew closer and came into view, Yu Yan unleashed her strongest attack before she even got a clear look at his face, sending a huge fireball hurtling toward him. Yun Tian paid it no mind.

"Yu Yan, you were a Spirit God once. How could you stoop to a sneak attack?"

When Yun Tian spoke her name, Yu Yan's pupils contracted in shock. He knows me? How? The other Spirit Gods who knew me are either dead or missing. How could this be? Is he an enemy? But aside from those two lizardmen, I don't have any enemies left, and he clearly isn't one of them. While Yu Yan was still reeling, her fireball reached Yun Tian. She wanted to stop it, but it was already too late.

Just as Yu Yan thought Yun Tian was done for, he made his move. With a single point of his finger, the enormous fireball collapsed inward from its center, condensed into a single point, and finally vanished.

"Whew, that almost ruined my hairstyle."

"Yu Yan, you're a Spirit God, after all. Don't be scared. I'm just an ordinary person."

"Hmph, an ordinary person? An ordinary person could casually stop my all-out strike? An ordinary person could appear in front of me without a sound? An ordinary person could get into this cave?"

"Tell me the truth. Who exactly are you?"

Seeing that Yu Yan was not so easily fooled, Yun Tian stopped teasing her.

"All right, let me introduce myself first. My name is Yun Tian. As for my strength, I'm stronger than you."
