After leaving the Swampert colony, Chen Shi sat on Metagross's head and flew off in one direction.
He hadn't just been robbing Pokémon earlier. He had also learned quite a few things.
According to the Pokémon in the forest, this land could roughly be divided into four regions. Two were volcanic areas, one was a desert, and the last was the forest.
Beyond that lay an endless ocean. The Swampert leader had said there were plenty of small islands out at sea, but too few edible berries grew there, so the Swampert had moved here with their kin.
Chen Shi hadn't forgotten what he had come here to do. He was here to try to stop Maxie and Archie from awakening the two giant beasts.
But he hadn't found any trace of Team Magma or Team Aqua yet, so he could only wander aimlessly and see whether he might run into Pheobe and the others along the way.
Soon, Metagross carried Chen Shi out of the forest. A barren expanse appeared before them, with not a trace of green across the rolling mountains.
The weather grew hotter and hotter, and they occasionally spotted a few scattered, weaker Pokémon below.
He knew he was nearing the volcanoes.
Interestingly, though, he still hadn't encountered a single person.
He wondered just how big this mystery realm was.
"Little Shi, where are we going next? Are we going to borrow things from other Pokémon again?" Jirachi looked up, blinking those adorable big eyes, and asked curiously.
After spending all of yesterday borrowing things, Jirachi had gotten hooked. Those Pokémon hadn't just handed over lots of resources-they'd also had plenty of tasty food.
And all of that had ended up in Jirachi's and Victini's bellies.
Chen Shi shook his head. "I don't know where we're
