"The truth you mean had better be the kind I'm thinking of!"
Chen Shi's face darkened.
That was a little rude, to say the least.
What did Reshiram mean, he was exceptionally true to himself?
Hadn't he just agreed a little too quickly?
Calling him true to himself would have been enough, but Reshiram had to tack on "exceptionally."
Don't I have any dignity?
Reshiram didn't reply, but Chen Shi refused to give up. He pointed at Steven and the other two and asked, "What about those three?"
"Could any of them become the Hero of Ideals or the Hero of Truth?"
The three of them immediately brightened at his words.
They didn't care about ideals or truth.
But getting a First-Tier God to accompany them? Wouldn't that send them straight to the top?
[Of these three, only the short-haired girl stands out in terms of ideals.]
After a while, Reshiram's voice came again, though this time everyone could hear it.
"I stand out in terms of ideals?" Diantha turned to look at Cynthia's hair before confirming that Reshiram meant her.
Chen Shi thought it over and realized that Reshiram's assessment seemed pretty sound.
Cynthia and Steven didn't seem to have any particular ideals. One liked studying ancient history, and the other liked digging up rocks.
Even when they became Champions in the future, they would only treat the position as a side job.
But studying history and digging up rocks were just hobbies. They had nothing to do with ideals or truth.
As for Diantha, her greatest ideal was probably to become the finest actress.
But Zekrom wouldn't be any use for that.
Was Zekrom supposed to help Diantha act?
With that answer, Chen Shi gave up completely and waved. "In that case, we won't bother you anymore. Bye!"
