Pheobe looked around the gradually quieting arena with wide eyes.
"Brother Chen Shi, is the exhibition match about to start? Everyone's stopped talking."
"Yes, it's almost time. The two Elite Kings should be coming out soon."
Chen Shi checked the time, then turned his gaze toward the door at the front of the Battle Arena.
A moment later, the door slowly opened, and two figures emerged.
One was a middle-aged man wearing red trousers and black shoes, with his shirt collar slightly exposed and a tuft of red hair on his head. This was Sidney, the Hoenn Region's newly appointed Dark-type Elite King.
An elderly man with a stooped back and a cane walked out alongside Sidney.
This old gentleman was the Fire-type Elite King, Mura.
As the two emerged, the atmosphere instantly heated up, and many people began shouting their names.
"Sidney!"
"Mura!"
Sidney and Mura both raised their hands and waved toward the stands, greeting the audience.
Pheobe watched the two men in the arena curiously.
"Brother Chen Shi, are these the two members of the Elite Four who'll be battling?"
"Who do you think will win?"
This was the little girl's first time seeing members of the Elite Four, and she couldn't help wondering who would win their upcoming battle.
"Neither of them will win. It'll most likely be a draw!"
"Huh? Why?" Pheobe looked incredulous.
How could a battle between people at this level possibly end in a draw?
Even when Pheobe battled other people now, she either won or lost. Draws were extremely rare.
Chen Shi curled his lip. "The world isn't all fighting and killing. It's about knowing how to handle people."
