"All right, children, that's all for this morning's lesson. You can get ready for lunch now. This afternoon, we'll go into the forest to observe Pokémon up close."
Professor Oak spoke in a clear, carrying voice. The children immediately ran back to their parents and began eating the food they had brought.
The children were quite amusing to watch, even sharing their dishes with their friends beside them.
The atmosphere was cheerful and warm.
Chen Shi sighed wistfully and waved Florges and Togekiss back over.
Togekiss was having the time of its life and had already become good friends with Serena. Earlier, it had even taken her flying, making the little girl giggle with delight.
Swampert had returned well before noon. No one ever needed to call that one when it was time to eat.
Chen Shi pulled his backpack over, took out their Pokéblocks, and handed them out one by one.
Mew, disguised as an Eevee, immediately grew excited. It ran over and sniffed every Pokémon's Pokéblocks before finally choosing Togekiss's.
Togekiss's Pokéblocks were sweet, so it seemed Mew had a sweet tooth too.
"Don't steal Togekiss's. I have more here. I'll get you some."
Delight flashed in Mew's eyes. It hurried over to sit in front of Chen Shi, looking expectant.
Chen Shi rubbed his temples and took out another portion of Togekiss's Pokéblocks for it.
So much for maintaining any dignity as a mighty Pokémon, huh?
Mew certainly wasn't about to turn him down and began eating, bite by bite.
Professor Oak walked over just then and gave Eevee a surprised look.
"You even found an Eevee? These Pokémon aren't very common around here. Are you planning to catch it?"
Earlier, he had seen his student playing with a Pidgey over there. How had an Eevee shown
