What was it like to be woken up by your girlfriend? Cheng Tian had never thought about it before, but now he had experienced the feeling.
He opened his eyes groggily and saw Su Han lying on her side beside him, fully dressed, gently calling to him. "A-Tian, wake up. It's the first day of the Lunar New Year. No sleeping in."
"Xiaohan?" Cheng Tian didn't quite register what was happening.
"What's wrong?" Su Han smiled sweetly and reached out to pinch his cheek. "Still half asleep? Take a moment to wake up."
Oh, right, he had a girlfriend now! Feeling her touch on his cheek, Cheng Tian recalled how they had confessed their feelings to each other last night.
"Xiaohan, have you gotten Cheng Tian up?" Cheng Tian's mother called.
"He's up," Su Han called back. "A-Tian, hurry out of bed and come eat. Grandpa and Grandma still have red envelopes for you."
What was this feeling? Being woken up by his girlfriend was pure bliss!
Cheng Tian got out of bed. Breakfast was already prepared outside, and the family smiled at the two youngsters.
"Here, Xiaohan. This is a red envelope from Grandma and Grandpa."
"This... I can't accept this." Su Han tried to refuse, but the red envelopes had already been pressed into her hands. There were five in total, one from each person.
"Don't stand on ceremony. We'll be family from now on," Cheng Tian's mother said with a smile.
Of course, Cheng Tian got some too. Receiving red envelopes was the happiest part of every year. Cheng Tian sat on the sofa, gleefully counting his money, looking as though he had fallen headfirst into a pile of cash...
