Inside Guomao Cinema, Cheng Tian and Su Han had already had their tickets checked and taken their seats. Quite a few of the hundred-plus seats were still empty.
Su Han had chosen seats in the middle, which were pretty good for watching a movie.
Three minutes before the movie was due to start, Cheng Tian suddenly stood up. "Want something to eat? I'll go buy something."
"Now?" Su Han checked the time. "The movie starts in three minutes."
"It's fine. I run fast." With that, Cheng Tian ran out of the theater and bought two tubs of popcorn outside. By the time he returned and sat down, the movie was starting.
It was a foreign movie that had been released a long time ago. Since there hadn't been any good movies lately, the cinema had decided to set aside two weeks to screen old films like this so some of its longtime customers could nourish their souls.
The movie was called Five Feet Apart, a romance. Many of the movie fans there had come to revisit a classic.
But while some were revisiting a classic, others weren't. Some couples had deliberately taken secluded corners to cuddle and get handsy. The sight made Su Han blush a little despite herself. Cheng Tian followed her gaze and happened to see a man slipping his hand under a girl's skirt.
"They probably don't know, do they?" Cheng Tian fought back a laugh. "Movie theaters have security cameras. Infrared, high-definition ones that can zoom in and out, too."
"Huh?" Su Han was surprised. This was the first she'd heard that movie theaters even had dedicated cameras.
Cheng Tian nodded with certainty. Whenever people got handsy in a theater or booked the whole place for some thrills, whatever they did that night would be posted
