The announcer stared incredulously at the enormous beast surrounded by the vortex, just as astonished.
"This is a terrible position for Ake!"
Hearing those words, Yong shook his head.
It wasn't that Steelix was too strong. Its opponent was just too weak!
Though its defenses were formidable and its resistances had improved immensely, Steelix was still nowhere near its peak! It couldn't withstand every kind of damage yet!

Ignoring the vortex around it, Steelix twisted its body and slithered forward, charging across the sandy ground toward its opponent! Its enormous tail shone silver-white, heavy and solid, as it slammed down at Wartortle!
"Withdraw! Rapid Spin!"
Ake suppressed his shock and hurriedly gave his commands.
"Wartortle!"
Retracting its limbs, head, and tail into its shell, Wartortle sharply boosted its defense! Then its whole body turned parallel to the ground and began spinning rapidly!
