"Elite Four Drake! Everyone is here!"
An Investigator in a black uniform sat astride a Pidgeot and spoke to the man standing on a dragon beside him.
Behind him were Investigators riding Flying-type Pokémon.
Drake nodded and looked down at Mt. Pyre, shrouded in black-purple energy. The eerie energy kept spilling outward, resembling a ghostly face gazing up at heaven and earth from afar!
"Battles have broken out all over the island, but none of our people are involved!"
The Investigator continued his report.
Drake frowned.
"Ignore those rats. Our top priority is to prevent the evil spirit from reviving and quell the energy surge!"
He turned to everyone and said sternly,
"I'll open a passage inside. Once you enter, hold the entrance to the fourth level! Don't let anyone through!"
"Yes, sir!"
Drake turned back and looked down.
"Lost energy... no, this should be an obsession wave... a will that refuses to let go... Salamence! Draco Meteor!"
"Roar!"
Salamence's red wings, like a pair of flying scythes, shuddered in the air! Salamence raised its head slightly, forming a huge sphere of crimson energy in its mouth before launching it into the sky!
Bang!
Fireworks bloomed!
The exploding sphere split apart in midair. More than a dozen energy spheres scattered and fell toward Mt. Pyre like meteors!
Boom!

Explosions rang out one after another. The violent blasts dispersed the eerie energy over the entire summit, opening up a clear area!
The Investigator waved his hand, and all the team members urged their Pokémon into a swift dive.
Drake did not move, nor did Salamence.
This was only the beginning. The real trial still lay ahead!
