A piercing screech of friction rang out from its body, sending showers of sparks flying. The powerful attacks made Steelix tremble slightly. Beneath its coiled body, the ground kept sinking, dense, web-like cracks spreading all around it!
Yet beyond that, Steelix simply stared at its opponent overhead with crimson eyes, utterly unruffled.
Cynthia gritted her teeth.
"It can't break through its defenses?!"
Yong, on the other hand, wore a confident smile.
"Steelix's greatest strength has always been its defense!"
As the girl's expression changed, the boy pointed and shouted,
"Steelix! Full-power Heavy Slam!"
The "mountain range" began to move!
White wisps rose from below. Amid the swirling air, silvery-white energy covered every inch of Steelix's body!

Cynthia swept out a hand, a trace of urgency beneath her cool voice.

It summoned every last bit of its Dragon-type energy, enveloping its entire body in purple light. As its surging power pulsed, Garchomp's ferocity and fury swelled without limit!
