Longevity Town stood at the northernmost edge of the Hoenn Region, at the foot of Misty Mountain. The whole town was famous for its exquisite handcrafted ice sculptures. Snow fell here year-round, and the sun rarely showed itself.

As Yong strolled through the streets, he noticed that the townspeople always wore smiles. They warmly greeted every traveler and Trainer from out of town.

White houses stood in neat rows, and almost every household was skilled at carving ice and snow.

Coming from scorching Lavaridge Town to chilly Longevity Town took some getting used to. Yong headed straight to the Pokémon Center and handed all his injured companions over to Nurse Joy. Then he carried the incubator to his room. Through the window, he could see that even the Pokémon Center's courtyard was filled with ice sculptures of all kinds of Pokémon. They looked wonderfully lifelike!

The smaller ones included Pikachu, Skitty, and Chansey, while the larger ones included Skarmory, Snorlax, and Walrein!

Yong even spotted sculptures of Swampert and Aggron among them. He imagined Marshtomp and the others would be delighted to see them once they recovered!

He set down his backpack and incubator, then lay on the bed. Thinking back on what had happened earlier, he still felt shaken.

The pressure exerted by high-level Pokémon had made him realize that he needed to raise everyone's levels quickly. Spending a long time building up energy and establishing a solid foundation could fully draw out their potential at their current stage, but the improvements were still limited. They could not compare with the all-around growth that came with reaching their final evolutionary stages.

Besides, some moves could only reveal their true power in their final stages!

At that thought, Yong sat up in bed.
