December 7, 1989.

The Gojo Clan, one of the three great families of Jujutsu Society, was in an uproar. Exclamations of astonishment rang out from the people gathered around two newborn babies lying in a crib at their center.

Let us rewind ten minutes:

The baby boy had not cried or fussed. Instead, he quietly opened his eyes, revealing a beautiful pair that seemed to stretch into the distance like the sky.

[Six Eyes]!

The "Six Eyes," also known as the "Azure Sky Eyes," was a special constitution rarely seen even once in a century within Jujutsu Society, sometimes appearing only once in several hundred years. Its outward manifestation was a pair of exceptionally beautiful eyes.

Everyone gazed at the baby boy's Six Eyes, unable to hide their excitement. After so many years, the Gojo Clan had finally produced another child with the Six Eyes.

"Thank the heavens. Thank our ancestors. Our Gojo Clan has finally produced the Six Eyes again." Some members of the clan clasped their hands together, murmuring softly in their excitement.

The birth of a baby with the Six Eyes in the Gojo Clan was enough to shake all of Jujutsu Society. But if that had been all, it would still have been something everyone could wrap their heads around.

What truly left them struggling to comprehend the situation, overwhelmed with excitement beyond words, was the baby girl beside him.

The baby girl had turned her head slightly to look at the boy opposite her. She neither cried nor fussed, and her open eyes were exactly like his, every bit as beautiful and pure.

Six Eyes!

In Jujutsu Society, twins were regarded as twinborn, an ominous sign. Although the two children were separate individuals, their fates were intertwined, and on the level of jujutsu, they were treated as a single person.

Most notably, one person's talent would be divided into two shares, so twins generally possessed little talent for jujutsu.

But both of these children had the Six Eyes!

Those with the Six Eyes were chosen by heaven, blessed with fortune. Ominous signs? In the face of the Six Eyes, everyone in the Gojo Clan declared that nothing but pure superstition!

No one knew what to say at the sight. With babies present, they held back their screams. From the baby girl's perspective, every person in her field of vision looked possessed, making incredibly awkward movements.

Some flailed their limbs wildly. Others had faces as red as ripe tomatoes from suppressing their laughter. A few even turned into the endlessly droning monk Tripitaka, muttering nonstop until someone beside them knocked them out with a punch.

In short, they had all gone mad.

An ordinary baby would certainly have been frightened by their demonic antics, but neither of the two babies in the crib was ordinary.

The baby boy could be called this world's chosen one, the future embodiment of "Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one," the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern age.

The baby girl was even more unusual. She was... all right, there was actually nothing particularly unusual about her. Put simply, she was someone who had reincarnated.

The baby boy kept his eyes open, his expression cool and detached.

The baby girl's eyes held a laid-back resignation that did not belong to someone her age. She was doing her best to adjust to and accept the change in her circumstances.

Her reincarnation itself did not surprise her. Though her memories were somewhat hazy, she vaguely recalled spinning an enormous wheel before arriving here. The wheel had been covered in icons, each representing an anime world.

She had not cared which world she went to, so she had simply given it a casual spin. Before spinning it, though, she had glanced over the wheel and noticed that some of the little worlds marked on it had gone "dark." She had no idea why.

When the wheel stopped, the world she would reincarnate into had been decided.

[Jujutsu Kaisen]

She was reasonably familiar with this anime. Although the manga had grown increasingly absurd in its later stages, she had to admit the early story was excellent, and the setting built around jujutsu and cursed spirits was interesting too.

So she had readily accepted reincarnating here. But when she turned her head slightly and saw the baby boy beside her, she froze.

Satoru... Gojo?

The third male lead in Jujutsu Kaisen. Invincible early on, sealed away in the middle because he was invincible, then freed later to go straight into a fight with the enemy boss.

I've reincarnated into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, but instead of landing in the original main storyline, why did I end up this far back in the timeline?

Hearing the conversations around her left her even more at a loss for words over her new identity.

Satoru Gojo's... twin older sister. And from what they were saying, she had the "Six Eyes" just like him.

Wait, why do I have the Six Eyes too?

The Six Eyes rarely appeared even once in a century. After several hundred years without them, two pairs had suddenly appeared at once. No wonder these old folks had gone mad. As for her identity... she fell silent.

Honestly, she wanted to give up trying...

As that thought ran through her mind, she closed her eyes. She could not speak at this stage anyway, nor could she do anything else.

Just as she began settling into her do-nothing state, an elderly clan elder forcibly cut through the commotion with a clap of his hands.

"Everyone, calm down. I know this is a wonderful thing. We can celebrate today, tomorrow, the day after-even for several days straight, if you like. But before that, we should name these two divine children."

At the Gojo Clan elder's clapping, everyone quickly fell silent, though excitement and exhilaration still shone on their faces.

Jealousy? Not a chance.

Jealousy only arose when someone believed they had a chance themselves. The Gojo Clan had not produced anyone with the Six Eyes in several hundred years.

Members without the Six Eyes were the norm in the Gojo Clan, while the birth of someone with them was an "honor" for the entire clan.

Everyone turned their gaze toward the two babies in the crib. As ordinary members of the Gojo Clan, they had no authority to name these divine children with the Six Eyes. Only the clan's elders had that privilege.

The Gojo Clan elder approached the baby boy, narrowed his eyes, and bent slightly at the waist as he spoke softly to him. "Little one, your name will be [Satoru]."

With that, he turned and walked over to the baby girl, narrowing his eyes and bending slightly in the same way.

"Your name will be [Chinatsu]. Going by the time of your birth, you're [Satoru]'s older sister. As for who will inherit the position of clan head, you two siblings can fight that out yourselves. After all, both of you have the Six Eyes."

Having finished, he straightened up. Unable to contain the broad smile on his face any longer, he turned and strode briskly out of the room.

Hearing the name "Chinatsu," the baby girl's eyes grew even more resigned. This was the first time she had heard the name, yet for some reason, it suddenly felt familiar.

Strange. Far too strange.

Chinatsu lay flat in the crib, staring at the stark white ceiling, and fell silent...
