Satoru and Chinatsu were born into the Gojo Clan on December 7, 1989. Their simultaneous possession of the Six Eyes overturned the clan’s usual fear that twins divided a sorcerer’s talent. An elder named both children and left the question of succession open because either could qualify as the next clan head 1.

The clan publicized their birth, alarming the Zenin and Kamo families. Dark-web bounties of one hundred million each were placed on the twins, but the estate’s defenses thwarted repeated assassination attempts. They consequently spent their early childhood under close protection 2.

At six, the twins earned permission to visit Akihabara by mastering Limitless Defense. Their appearance attracted crowds and talent agents, but their main ambition remained improving their jujutsu. They began studying Limitless theory under the Elder while receiving private academic and etiquette lessons 3 4 5 6.

Neither sibling wanted the responsibilities of clan leadership. Although Satoru initially had more supporters because a male clan head was more readily accepted, he publicly rejected the position at a Jujutsu Society banquet and named Chinatsu as the future head, cutting off Naobito Zenin’s proposal that she marry into the Zenin Clan 6 9.

His competitiveness centers on Chinatsu. His recurring “Big Brother Plan” is to surpass her, reverse their sibling hierarchy, and make her call him her older brother. Her successes with Blue and Black Flash push him into harder training rather than resignation 11 15 30.

Despite his difficult behavior, he is explicitly described as not coldhearted. He reacts anxiously to Chinatsu’s injuries and feels sympathy for Riko Amanai’s impending loss of her individual existence. Rather than grounding that sympathy in lofty moral principles, he follows his own feelings 20 33 36.

He can also maintain discipline under extreme pressure. When Chinatsu falls bloodied during Toji’s attack, Satoru suppresses his rage before engaging him—a display of composure that Toji himself acknowledges 37.

Satoru enters Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High with Chinatsu and meets Shoko and Geto. He and Geto quickly become best friends and form the strongest duo, completing numerous difficult assignments together 20 21 23.

Star Plasma Vessel Escort

Satoru, Chinatsu, and Geto protect Riko from Q and the Time Vessel Association. Satoru and Chinatsu repel an officer’s throwing-knife attack, escort Riko to school, and reach her classroom before subsequent attackers can harm her 31 32 33.

After a beach outing, Toji ambushes the group at Jujutsu High. Satoru attacks when Chinatsu is stabbed, but Toji’s technique-nullifying weapon defeats his Blues. The ensuing fight leaves Satoru gravely injured and ultimately awakens his Reverse Cursed Technique 35 36 37 39.

Tengen’s Evolution

With Riko and Kuroi safe, Satoru accompanies Chinatsu to meet Tengen. The twins stand guard during her evolution and train while waiting. When a monstrous tree-like creature emerges, they discover Tengen inside it; Chinatsu extracts her, and Satoru finishes the creature with Purple 39 41 42.

Special Grade and Third Year

Tengen’s failed barriers cause a surge in assignments, which Satoru and Chinatsu divide by location. His Special Grade promotion is later announced alongside Chinatsu’s and Geto’s. By third year, he freely alternates between solo missions, missions with Geto, wandering the streets, and spending entire days resting in bed 44 48 49.
