Chapters 126–150 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 126Let Go of Me, I Can Still Ship Them!

Sukuna tested whether he could protect someone inside Malevolent Shrine and discovered that he could spare Megumi and Megumi’s shikigami by adjusting the domain’s targeting. He left Megumi able to move safely through the domain, but wondered whether carrying a rabbit during missions would be practical—and whether it could become dinner.

  • Sukuna tested Malevolent Shrine with a stone, plants, insects, and Megumi’s hair, confirming that things he touched were spared from its slashes.
  • Sukuna guided Megumi into the domain while holding his hand, and Megumi remained unharmed.
  • Megumi tested whether his Rabbit Escape shikigami would be protected by sending rabbits into the domain, but the first one was killed.
  • Sukuna adjusted the domain’s targeting while holding a rabbit, allowing Megumi and the other rabbits to enter safely without him touching them.
  • Sukuna wondered how he would carry a rabbit during combat and considered eating the one in his arms.

Ch. 127He wanted to eat the whole thing!

Sukuna enjoyed Gojo’s roast chicken so much that it stirred nostalgic memories, while Itadori shared the food with his friends. Gojo later discussed Itadori’s rapid progress with Shoko and explained that Itadori had refused Grade 1 advancement to avoid putting Sukuna in greater danger.

  • Sukuna returned to his dorm for dinner, eagerly ate Gojo’s roast chicken, and recalled that he had loved it a thousand years earlier.
  • Gojo heard that the chicken had made Sukuna cry, brought more to Jujutsu High, and watched Sukuna enjoy another one.
  • Itadori packed food for Sukuna, Megumi Fushiguro, and his friends, then discovered that Gojo’s chicken was delicious himself.
  • Gojo told Shoko that Itadori and Sukuna had each completed six Grade 1 missions in one night, and said he planned to nominate Itadori alongside other students later.
  • Gojo explained that Itadori had declined Grade 1 advancement because he feared it would put Sukuna in greater danger.

Ch. 128That's their Megumi Beauty for you~

Megumi Fushiguro joined Itadori and Sukuna on a night of curse missions to test his strength, discovering that he had grown far stronger than he realized. After Megumi failed to open his domain during four fights, Itadori suggested he try during their upcoming special grade mission, leaving Megumi worried he would die before succeeding.

  • After dinner, Itadori gave Megumi a large food container and spare clothes, and they set off for a night of missions.
  • In the taxi, Megumi learned Itadori had exorcised six grade 1 or semi-grade 1 curses the previous night and accepted Sukuna's offer to let him choose missions and receive healing.
  • Megumi exorcised a grade 1 curse with The Well and realized he had become much stronger than he thought.
  • Megumi fought four curses before mental exhaustion forced him to rest, and Sukuna quickly handled the remaining missions while Megumi waited in the car.
  • Before three in the morning, they finished every mission except the special grade one, and Megumi told Itadori he had been unable to open his domain.
  • Itadori suggested Megumi join the special grade mission to try opening his domain under pressure, and Megumi feared the attempt would get him killed.

Ch. 129How Could I Possibly Be Scared!

Sukuna and Megumi Fushiguro investigated a villa where several sorcerers had vanished, but Sukuna's fear of the haunted-looking place was interrupted when a strange doorway swallowed Megumi and The Well. Sukuna was left alone outside as Megumi disappeared inside.

  • Sukuna and Megumi Fushiguro ate and rested before approaching the villa, where children and multiple sorcerers had vanished.
  • The iron gate opened by itself, and Sukuna nervously insisted he was not scared before dragging Megumi inside.
  • Megumi explained that the villa and gate were covered in cursed energy, then entered the house with The Well to scout it.
  • A ripple in the doorway swallowed Megumi and The Well, leaving Sukuna outside in shock.

Ch. 130Thank goodness, he was still here!

Megumi Fushiguro and Sukuna were trapped in an innate domain where the villa and its ordinary creatures appeared enormous, forcing them to navigate a town-sized room. They reunited while fleeing giant cockroaches, but Sukuna exhausted his Domain Expansion and they ended the chapter still running.

  • Megumi Fushiguro arrived in a dining room where everything appeared a hundred times larger and realized they would have to search the immense domain for its Special Grade Curse.
  • Sukuna screamed as car-sized cockroaches chased him through the kitchen, and he ran toward Megumi Fushiguro after hearing The Well howl.
  • Sukuna expanded Malevolent Shrine to destroy the cockroaches around him, then reached Megumi Fushiguro and continued running with him.
  • Megumi Fushiguro drew his black blade, but Sukuna objected to fighting the cockroaches at close range, so Megumi Fushiguro kept running with him.
  • Sukuna admitted he needed a quiet place to heal his Cursed Technique burnout, while the cockroaches continued chasing them.

Ch. 131Play~ With~ Me~

Megumi Fushiguro and Sukuna fought their way through a vast villa after being shrunk by a Special Grade Curse’s domain, then found an unconscious jujutsu sorcerer on a coffee table. The sorcerer warned them to watch for threads above, and they looked up to see what he meant.

  • Megumi Fushiguro used Max Elephant and Nue to electrocute the cockroaches chasing him and Sukuna.
  • Megumi Fushiguro explained that their cursed techniques remained powerful, but their range had shrunk, and Sukuna realized his perception extended only a few meters.
  • Giant ceramic dolls emerged and chased them, repeatedly reassembling after Sukuna’s Dismantle shattered them.
  • Megumi Fushiguro used Nue to carry him onto a coffee table, and Sukuna climbed up after him.
  • Megumi Fushiguro and Sukuna found an unconscious middle-aged jujutsu sorcerer and Sukuna healed him with Reverse Cursed Technique.
  • The sorcerer warned Megumi Fushiguro and Sukuna about threads above, and they looked up.

Ch. 132Put Me Down!

Megumi Fushiguro discovered that invisible threads were draining cursed energy from him and Sukuna, and Sukuna protected him by taking on the drain. After Megumi Fushiguro revealed another way for them to climb, Sukuna began scaling the villa wall with him.

  • Megumi Fushiguro noticed that his cursed energy was being siphoned by invisible threads that reappeared whenever he severed them.
  • Megumi Fushiguro explained the threads to Sukuna and realized the vanished door meant they had to find the special grade curse above.
  • Sukuna found that the threads drained his abundant cursed energy without seriously weakening him, then shielded Megumi Fushiguro and took on his drain.
  • Sukuna decided to climb toward the roof and tried to carry Megumi Fushiguro, but Megumi Fushiguro punched him and promised another way to go up together.
  • Five minutes later, Sukuna climbed swiftly up the wall using the method Megumi Fushiguro had shown him.

Ch. 133Do curses team up too?

Sukuna and Megumi Fushiguro destroyed a giant spider curse on the building’s roof, but discovered that another curse was still controlling the porcelain dolls below. Fushiguro began searching for the remaining curse while Sukuna rested and prepared to repair his brain after using his domain.

  • Sukuna spotted a giant spider curse and asked Fushiguro to help him reach it without getting caught in its webs.
  • Fushiguro summoned Nue, and Sukuna used cursed energy, Dismantle, and flames to clear a path toward the spider.
  • Sukuna opened Malevolent Shrine, destroying the spider, its swarm, and the roof before Nue carried him and Fushiguro back down.
  • Sukuna realized the room remained enormous, and Fushiguro explained that the spider and the porcelain dolls were controlled by two different curses.
  • Fushiguro set out on Nue to search for the curse controlling the dolls while Sukuna rested and planned to repair his brain.

Ch. 134A day off-time to take Sukuna out for some fun~

Megumi Fushiguro exorcised a special grade curse and secretly opened his domain during a mission with Sukuna, then returned to Jujutsu High exhausted. After Itadori told their friends about the mission, he suggested taking Sukuna out for fun, and Nobara eagerly agreed.

  • Sukuna replenished Megumi Fushiguro's cursed energy and sent him to investigate the little girl's room, where a special grade curse trapped him in darkness.
  • Megumi Fushiguro defeated the little girl curse with his domain and a black blade before Sukuna arrived and healed him.
  • Sukuna realized Megumi Fushiguro had opened a domain, but Megumi kept its strange details secret.
  • After they returned to Jujutsu High, Itadori told Nobara, Junpei, and Tsumiki that Megumi Fushiguro had completed four Grade 1 missions and exorcised a special grade curse.
  • Itadori invited Nobara and the others to take Sukuna out for fun, and Nobara enthusiastically agreed to go that day.

Ch. 135Sukuna, Want to Give It a Try?~

Itadori, Nobara, Junpei, and Tsumiki took Sukuna out for food and activities, and Sukuna eagerly tried monjayaki and ice skating. After discovering how much he enjoyed skating, Sukuna and Tiger planned to keep going on outings and try more new experiences.

  • Junpei, Tsumiki, and the others joined Itadori in planning a day out while Sukuna slept.
  • Sukuna woke at the restaurant, tried cooking monjayaki, and later bought takoyaki with the group.
  • At the ice rink, Sukuna nervously switched with Tiger, who skated smoothly while Nobara struggled to stay upright.
  • Itadori helped Nobara skate, and Tsumiki invited Sukuna to skate with her; Sukuna quickly learned and impressed the rink's onlookers.
  • After skating, Sukuna and Tiger agreed to go on more weekend outings and try activities and food during future trips.

Ch. 136Meow! My ears are going to get pregnant!

After Nobara’s disastrous karaoke performance, Sukuna tried singing and surprised everyone with his rich voice, soon enthusiastically recording more songs. Gojo heard a clip of Sukuna singing and rushed back to Jujutsu High, upset that he had missed karaoke.

  • After dinner, Sukuna, Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Junpei, Tsumiki, and Nobara went to karaoke, where Sukuna passed the microphone around because he could not sing.
  • Nobara sang, leaving everyone sprawled across the room, so Sukuna asked her to take a break.
  • Itadori sang a duet with Tsumiki, then encouraged Sukuna to try a song he recognized from a tune he often hummed.
  • Sukuna learned and sang “Something Just Like This,” impressing the others, who recorded him and asked him to sing again.
  • Sukuna grew excited about karaoke and asked Tiger to find him another song.
  • Gojo received an edited recording from Nobara and Megumi Fushiguro, recognized Sukuna’s voice, and decided to ditch work and return to Jujutsu High.

Ch. 137This Was All He Wanted

Sukuna and Itadori planned a trip to the zoo, but Sukuna hid the mask so Itadori would go without him taking over. As Itadori searched for the fox enclosure, two mysterious figures who recognized him followed him to the zoo.

  • Sukuna asked Itadori where he wanted to go, and Itadori suggested visiting the zoo together the next day.
  • Itadori invited the first-years, but everyone except him slept through the morning.
  • Sukuna admitted he had hidden the mask, so Itadori continued to the zoo without it.
  • A little boy recognized Itadori on the bus and urged his punk-looking companion to follow him.
  • The two chased the bus in a taxi, frightened the driver into speeding, and entered the zoo after Itadori.
  • The taxi driver found that the camera footage was static and realized the companion had worn gloves, leaving him with no proof of what he had seen.

Ch. 138You-Are My Little Brother!

Itadori and Sukuna went to the zoo hoping to see foxes, but instead encountered Kechizu and Eso, who insisted that Itadori was their younger brother. The brothers happily got Itadori to call them big brother and reminded him to call Choso his eldest brother when they met again.

  • Itadori and Sukuna searched the zoo for foxes, found none, and decided to explore its other animals.
  • Sukuna recognized the cursed energy of two of the brothers who had followed them, and Itadori led them somewhere quieter to ask what they wanted.
  • Kechizu ran up to Itadori, asked for a hug, and declared that Itadori was his little brother because they were related by blood.
  • Kechizu introduced Eso as their second big brother, and Itadori indulged them by calling Kechizu big brother and Eso second brother.
  • Eso told Itadori to call Choso his eldest brother when they met again.

Ch. 139Sukuna, Don't Tell Me... You're Jealous?

Itadori reunited with Kechizu and Eso, who became his self-proclaimed big brothers, while Sukuna grew jealous of their time together. The chapter ended with Sukuna calling Itadori his foolish little brother and Itadori preparing to make him rephrase.

  • Itadori asked Kechizu and Eso how they had changed their appearance, but they could not explain because of a Binding Vow.
  • Itadori accepted Kechizu and Eso as brothers and told them not to hurt people or damage property.
  • Itadori toured the zoo with Kechizu and Eso while Sukuna watched from inside, feeling left out.
  • Kechizu and Eso returned to Choso and told him that Itadori had accepted them as brothers, leaving Choso upset that he had missed his chance to be the first big brother.
  • Sukuna admitted he was a little jealous and asked Itadori to confirm that he was his only real big brother.
  • Sukuna called Itadori his foolish little brother, and Itadori smiled and asked him to rephrase it.

Ch. 140Tonight, I'll Take You Out on a Boat

Gojo took Sukuna out on the small wooden boat he had built, and the two relaxed beneath the stars as Gojo shared his growing premonition that something bad would happen. Gojo also revealed that Geto had been the only other person to ride the boat and called him his one and only best friend, while Sukuna jokingly labeled him Gojo’s boyfriend.

  • Gojo brought Sukuna roast chicken at lunch and invited him to ride a boat that evening.
  • Sukuna was disappointed by the small wooden boat until Gojo explained that he had built it himself, then eagerly climbed aboard.
  • Sukuna and Gojo settled into the boat’s sofa chairs and watched the stars reflected on the lake.
  • Gojo told Sukuna that he had a growing sense that something bad would happen soon and said he had asked Okkotsu to return and look after the students.
  • Sukuna asked who else had ridden the boat, and Gojo described Geto as his one and only best friend.
  • Sukuna mistook Gojo’s friend for a girlfriend, then called him Gojo’s boyfriend after learning Geto was a man.

Ch. 141As Long as I'm Here, I'll Always Keep You Safe

Gojo told Sukuna about killing his best friend Geto, and Sukuna apologized for asking Gojo to kill him if necessary. Gojo promised to protect Sukuna so he would never become Ryomen Sukuna, but three days later Gojo entered the Curtain over Shibuya alone after its creator demanded his presence.

  • Gojo told Sukuna that he had killed his best friend Geto himself and wondered whether that made him cruel.
  • Sukuna apologized for asking Gojo to kill him and suggested hiring someone else, but Gojo said he alone could kill Sukuna if the time came.
  • Gojo told Sukuna to stop eating fingers and promised to keep him safe so he would never become Ryomen Sukuna.
  • Three days later, a massive Curtain appeared over Shibuya Ward, trapping ordinary people inside and carrying the demand to bring Satoru Gojo.
  • The higher-ups ordered Gojo to handle the Shibuya incident alone, and he entered the Curtain at 20:31.

Ch. 142Gojo, hang in there! I'll be there any second!

After learning that Gojo had entered Shibuya alone, Sukuna took control of Itadori and rushed into the Curtain to find him. He discovered Mahito’s Transfigured Humans and fought through a powerful Cursed Womb, then continued toward the cursed energy signatures ahead.

  • Sukuna objected to the higher-ups sending Gojo into Shibuya alone and urged Itadori to leave his assigned team and help him.
  • Junpei suggested swapping assignments, and Megumi arranged for himself to join Mei Mei’s team and Junpei to join Nanami’s so Itadori could go inside with Sukuna.
  • Sukuna took control of Itadori, entered the Curtain, and sensed Mahito’s Transfigured Humans concentrated near a second Curtain underground.
  • Sukuna told Itadori to keep his eyes closed and cut down the Transfigured Humans as he raced toward the underground Curtain.
  • Sukuna passed through the second Curtain and sensed Gojo, Mahito, and the other curses nearby.
  • Sukuna killed the Cursed Womb Dagon with a maximum-output Dismantle and continued toward Gojo.

Ch. 143Thank goodness, he had arrived just in time!

Satoru Gojo fought special grade curses and nearly a thousand transfigured humans in Shibuya before Kenjaku tried to seal him with the Prison Realm. Sukuna arrived in time to pull Gojo out of its range, leaving Kenjaku's sealing plan ruined.

  • Gojo fought Jogo, Hanami, and Choso while protecting the ordinary humans in Shibuya station.
  • Mahito arrived with a subway car full of transfigured humans, forcing Gojo to deploy Unlimited Void for 0.2 seconds.
  • Gojo killed roughly one thousand transfigured humans while the curses and humans remained immobilized.
  • Kenjaku appeared with the Prison Realm and called to Gojo in Geto's voice as the cursed object began to unfold.
  • Sukuna rushed in and pulled Gojo more than ten meters away from the Prison Realm, preventing Kenjaku from sealing him.
  • Kenjaku realized Sukuna had thwarted his plan to seal Gojo.

Ch. 144He Didn't Even Recognize Uraume Anymore?!

Sukuna arrived to rescue an exhausted Gojo and found Kenjaku using Suguru Geto’s body. After Sukuna failed to recognize Kenjaku or Uraume, Uraume appeared, and Sukuna greeted them as a familiar attendant.

  • Sukuna healed Gojo with Reverse Cursed Technique and asked what had happened.
  • Gojo recognized Kenjaku’s body as his dead best friend Suguru Geto.
  • Kenjaku revealed his identity and tried to recruit Sukuna, but Sukuna said he did not know him.
  • Kenjaku mentioned Uraume, and Sukuna cautiously said the name rang a bell.
  • Uraume appeared at the stairway, and Sukuna recognized them by their appearance and greeted them as Uraume.
  • Uraume’s heartbreak turned to delight when Sukuna addressed them as his lord.

Ch. 145He Finally Killed That Little Bastard Mahito!

Sukuna killed Mahito while he was trapped in Gojo's Unlimited Void, ruining Kenjaku's plans and leaving Gojo to realize that the man wearing Geto's body was not Geto. Sukuna then declared that Gojo and the Jujutsu Sorcerers under him were his to protect, leaving Kenjaku, Uraume, and Gojo stunned.

  • Uraume questioned Sukuna about helping Gojo, and Sukuna insisted he no longer wanted to kill every Jujutsu Sorcerer.
  • Sukuna spotted Mahito among the people frozen by Unlimited Void and destroyed him completely with his fist, Dismantle, and flames.
  • Kenjaku realized Mahito's death had wrecked his plan to use Idle Transfiguration on the marked Non-Sorcerers.
  • Gojo recognized that the man in Geto's body was not Geto and listened as Sukuna and Uraume discussed Sukuna's past.
  • Kenjaku challenged Sukuna about helping Gojo, and Sukuna declared that Gojo and the Jujutsu Sorcerers under him were his alone to touch.

Ch. 146..."Demon-Subduing Flame Hell Heaven"?

After Sukuna killed Mahito, he accidentally revealed his domain’s real name and learned that Gojo had been given a false one. Gojo confronted Kenjaku and Uraume over Sukuna’s Fingers, while Sukuna asked him to spare Uraume because they had been friends a thousand years earlier.

  • Sukuna celebrated killing Mahito and revealed that his domain was called “Demon-Subduing Flame Hell Heaven,” prompting Kenjaku, Uraume, and Gojo to give different names for it.
  • Sukuna admitted he had told Gojo a fake domain name, then used Gojo’s phone to learn that “Malevolent Shrine” referred to a Buddhist shrine rather than a kitchen.
  • Kenjaku suspected Sukuna had lost his memories and wondered whether he still remembered the little fox he had once yearned for.
  • Sukuna learned that Kenjaku had stolen Geto’s body and immediately condemned him, while Gojo said they needed to handle the current threat first.
  • Gojo demanded that Kenjaku and Uraume hand over Sukuna’s Fingers and threatened to kill them both, but Sukuna asked him not to kill Uraume because they had been buddies a thousand years earlier.

Ch. 147Sukuna: I was more wronged than anyone

Gojo and Sukuna confronted Kenjaku’s group, and Gojo killed Jogo before he could use his full strength. Jogo handed Sukuna a bundle of his fingers as he died, leaving Sukuna desperate to convince Gojo he was not on the enemy’s side.

  • Kenjaku weighed his chances against Gojo and Sukuna, while Gojo asked Sukuna to locate his fingers.
  • Sukuna sensed that Jogo was carrying a large bundle of his fingers, and Gojo’s group charged toward him.
  • Gojo struck Jogo, pulled him back with his cursed technique, and punched through his chest before Jogo could fight back.
  • As he died, Jogo threw Sukuna’s fingers to Sukuna, who caught them while Kenjaku and Uraume watched.
  • Gojo refused to take the fingers from Sukuna, and Sukuna awkwardly stored them while Itadori reassured him from the Inner World.

Ch. 148You Actually Know About the Little Fox I Raised?

Uraume revealed that the being everyone thought was Sukuna was actually the little fox Sukuna had raised, and Sukuna recognized that his dreams and memories belonged to the fox. The chapter ended with Uraume demanding to know where the real Sukuna was.

  • Uraume recognized that the figure before him was not Lord Sukuna and called him the little fox.
  • Sukuna excitedly asked Uraume about the little fox he believed he had raised, but Uraume told him that he was the little fox.
  • Sukuna connected his dreams, missing memories, and behavior to the fox and realized he might not be Sukuna at all.
  • Uraume cited Sukuna's inability to eat spicy food as proof, recalling the chili chocolate incident.
  • Sukuna asked where the real Sukuna was, and Uraume angrily demanded that he reveal what he had done with Lord Sukuna.

Ch. 149He wanted to revive Sukuna!

Kenjaku and Uraume gave Sukuna the fingers needed to revive the real Sukuna, and Uraume told him that Sukuna had crossed a thousand years for him because they were family. Sukuna wanted to meet him but refused to revive him during the Shibuya crisis, leaving Gojo with all twenty fingers as Gojo turned his attention to Kenjaku.

  • Kenjaku revealed that eating all twenty fingers could revive the real Sukuna, and Uraume handed Sukuna three preserved fingers.
  • Kenjaku had a curse deliver another finger, which Uraume cleaned before giving it to Sukuna.
  • Sukuna counted nineteen fingers in his possession and asked Uraume whether he would disappear if the real Sukuna returned.
  • Uraume told Sukuna that the real Sukuna had become cursed objects and traveled a thousand years for him because he was family, prompting Sukuna to want to meet him.
  • Sukuna wrapped the newly received fingers and asked Gojo to hold them, then refused to revive Sukuna until Shibuya was dealt with.
  • Gojo pocketed the fingers, completing the set of twenty, and fixed his attention on Kenjaku with killing intent.

Ch. 150Make him eat the fingers and resurrect the real Sukuna

Kenjaku offered to return Suguru Geto's body and keep his cursed spirits contained if Gojo made Little Fox eat all of Sukuna's Fingers and resurrect the real Sukuna. Little Fox countered by demanding that Kenjaku never release any of his cursed spirits, leaving Gojo and Kenjaku stunned and Uraume furious.

  • Gojo threatened Kenjaku but hesitated because killing him could unleash his cursed spirits.
  • Kenjaku revealed that he controlled over a hundred thousand cursed spirits and warned Gojo against killing him.
  • Kenjaku offered to return Suguru Geto's body and contain his spirits if Gojo resurrected Sukuna by feeding Little Fox all of Sukuna's Fingers.
  • Little Fox pretended to resist the offer, then demanded that Kenjaku never release any of his cursed spirits.
  • Gojo and Kenjaku stared in silence while Uraume furiously threatened to make fox soup.
