Itadori took Sukuna and their friends to an amusement park, where Sukuna enjoyed an arcade before being coaxed into a haunted house. Sukuna fainted after Junpei startled him with a featureless face prop, and afterward he vowed to avoid the haunted house while still planning to return for the games.
Sukuna persuaded Gojo to arrange a human-skin mask so he could play arcade games without revealing his cursed markings, then got roped into a mission while it was being made. By the next morning, Sukuna was back at the amusement park, determined to beat the racing game's top record, while Megumi was assigned another mission.
Utahime discovered that Kokichi Muta had vanished from his underground base, confirming her suspicions that he was the mole. Meanwhile, Kokichi received the healthy body he had long wished for and confronted Mahito and Suguru Geto, leaving the story in the middle of their battle.
After a blackout ruined Sukuna’s arcade record, he and Itadori investigated a massive Curtain in the mountains and found Mahito battling Kokichi Muta in Ultimate Mechamaru. Sukuna broke Mahito’s domain with Dismantle, and Itadori appeared inside as Mahito and Kokichi stared in confusion.
Sukuna arrived at Mahito’s domain, freed Kokichi Muta, and pursued Mahito while Kenjaku erased Kokichi’s memories to protect his plans. The chase continued through the forest as Mahito realized Sukuna was deliberately targeting him.
Sukuna abandoned his pursuit of Mahito after sensing another Finger near Mechamaru, while Kenjaku escaped with Mahito’s remains. Mechamaru was found alive, and Utahime told Megumi and the others that Itadori had located Kokichi Muta, leaving Megumi confused about a conflicting mission report.
Kokichi Muta woke to find that Itadori had healed his body, and he gratefully believed Itadori had cured the condition that had afflicted him for seventeen years. After Miwa reunited with him and Megumi Fushiguro checked on Itadori, Utahime restored the Curtain and reminded the students to study Curtains.
Kokichi Muta woke up healed but could not remember how it happened, while Itadori denied healing him and Kokichi decided to protect his supposed secret. Gojo concluded that Mahito had healed Kokichi in exchange for a deal, but chose to keep the truth from the students as Kokichi and Itadori became friends and Megumi confronted Itadori about his leave request.
Itadori explained why he and Sukuna had skipped class, revealing that Sukuna had commissioned an expensive Human-Skin Mask to play arcade games. After promising to return to the amusement park that night, Itadori helped Sukuna finish his game, then took his own turn.
Yuji reassured Sukuna that he did not have to eat the sixth finger until he wanted to, and offered to save all the fingers until the end. Sukuna felt grateful for Yuji’s kindness, and they went to sleep on warm terms.
Megumi Fushiguro taught Itadori and Sukuna how to cast and configure Curtains after they struggled with the complicated settings. They mastered the versions they were likely to need, but Nobara pointed out that a mistake could leave one of them stuck halfway through a Curtain.
Gojo asked Sukuna to make him a cake, and Sukuna agreed after Gojo gave him an expectant look. Megumi discovered Itadori had asked for leave, then made sure everyone shared the cake rather than letting Gojo and Sukuna keep it between them.
Sukuna practiced and demonstrated Malevolent Shrine to his classmates, impressing them with its destructive power. Megumi Fushiguro taught him that expanding a domain temporarily burns out its cursed technique, but Sukuna discovered a way to overcome the problem before the next day.
Megumi Fushiguro warned Gojo about Sukuna’s growing power, prompting Gojo to propose a binding vow in case Sukuna’s memories returned. Sukuna agreed to a vow that excluded Yuji, then balked when Gojo explained how to heal cursed technique burnout.
Sukuna explained to Itadori why he had chosen to accept Gojo’s binding vow: he feared what he might become as he regained his strength and memories. Itadori realized Sukuna was indifferent to dying, and Sukuna promised to stop eating Fingers so he could stay with everyone.
Itadori’s distress over Sukuna’s Binding Vow eased after he confided in Megumi Fushiguro, who had bluffed about Gojo telling him everything. Sukuna discovered the bluff and reassured Megumi that his call had not caused the vow, then asked him to keep it secret.
Sukuna reassured Megumi that his binding vow with Gojo had been arranged long ago, though he later admitted to Yuji that he had lied to ease Megumi’s worries. He left to buy drinks and call Gojo to coordinate their story, while Yuji praised his kindness; a bonus scene showed Sukuna forcing Yuji to drink milk instead of cola so he would grow taller.
Sukuna agreed to help Gojo with missions, then discovered Ijichi had sent him twelve assignments. Itadori volunteered to handle them, while Megumi Fushiguro confronted Sukuna about his reluctance to let him work alone and tricked him into revealing Gojo's warning about Megumi's dangerous ultimate move.
Megumi promised Sukuna he would stop using a suicidal move, but Tsumiki overheard and confronted him, leaving him behind while Itadori and Sukuna went on missions. After exorcising a string of curses, Itadori headed to a 7-Eleven for food before facing a suspected Special Grade, where Choso was also heading.
Choso tried to provide for his younger brothers while keeping them safe from Kenjaku’s plans. At a 7-Eleven in Chiba, he unexpectedly encountered Yuji Itadori and left by a roundabout route so Yuji would not find Eso and Kechizu.
Sukuna recognized Choso as a possible incarnated vessel and suspected he was the special-grade target of their mission, so Itadori planned to find him after eating. Choso returned home to care for Eso and Kechizu, then prepared to kill Itadori when he sensed someone approaching, but Itadori hesitated outside his door and never knocked.
Itadori tried to recruit Choso to Jujutsu High, but Choso attacked after realizing Itadori knew about his brothers. Sukuna protected Itadori and nearly retaliated before Itadori calmed him down, leaving the confrontation interrupted by a neighbor's angry shout.
Sukuna confronted Choso, Eso, and Kechizu, then learned they might want help living among humans. He secured a binding vow that prevented all three brothers from killing anyone, leaving Choso stunned and suspicious of Sukuna’s unexpected values.
After Yuji left Choso, Eso, and Kechizu, Choso realized that Yuji was his younger brother and excitedly told the others. The brothers celebrated their new sibling and planned to change their appearances before meeting him again.
After completing a night of missions, Itadori returned to school and learned that the Death Painting Cursed Wombs they had encountered were missing objects from Jujutsu High’s vault. Gojo told him and Sukuna not to pursue them, then offered them presents for their work, and Sukuna chose food to share with Itadori.
