His true face was very important. Even at their last gathering, he had worn an eye mask that covered half his face.
Over the past few days, Kisame Hoshigaki and Hidan had occasionally tried to pull off his mask to see what he actually looked like.
But Lin Guang had answered them with Ice Release ninjutsu and Sharingan Genjutsu.
Neither of them had any good way to counter Lin Guang's methods, so after a while, they had been forced to give up.

Uchiha Itachi revealed his Sharingan as well. With two people staring at him with Sharingan, Deidara was under immense pressure.
"Akatsuki? Never heard of it! You two had better leave right now, or I won't be polite."
Deidara threatened them.
"Be careful. He's an explosives expert who displayed astonishing destructive power from childhood, after all. Don't let this go wrong."
Uchiha Itachi reminded him.
"My abilities happen to counter his perfectly. Let me handle this one, so I can get some of the cash reward Konan offers."
Lin Guang looked at Uchiha Itachi.
"Suit yourself. I'm not particularly greedy."
Uchiha Itachi waved a hand as he spoke.
"You two actually dare to ignore me?"
Deidara was furious. These two people who claimed to be from some Akatsuki organization were far too rude!
They said they had come looking for him, yet they thought nothing of his strength. To Deidara, this was an utter humiliation.
"We're not ignoring you. Didn't I just say my abilities can counter yours? If you quietly join our Akatsuki, you can spare yourself some physical suffering."
Lin Guang said to Deidara.
"Get lost! Don't get in the way of my appreciation of art."
Deidara snapped.
