Brock's Onix was enormous and very well trained, measuring roughly ten meters long. Its body consisted of many large stones, with the gray rocks growing progressively smaller from its head to its tail.
The foremost stone was Onix's head, with its eyes on it and a rocky horn on top.
"Onix! Use Tackle!"
Since Brock had switched Pokémon, the first move went to him.
Onix moved its massive body, making the ground tremble slightly. On the rocky battlefield, it displayed speed at odds with its size as it charged fiercely at Charmander.
Against such an enormous Pokémon, Lin Guang would not let the small Charmander attack Onix head-on.
"Charmander! Onix's attack! Jump onto its head, then keep attacking it with Scratch and Ember!"
Hearing Lin Guang's command, Charmander immediately leaped up and dodged Onix's attack.
Charmander also used the momentum to jump onto Onix's head, constantly attacking with Scratch and Ember. Though the attacks had little effect, Charmander did not give up.
Seeing this, Brock naturally understood that Lin Guang intended to use the small, nimble Charmander to keep dodging Onix's attacks while steadily wearing down its stamina.
As a Gym Trainer, Brock would not simply sit back and do nothing.
"Onix, find a way to shake Charmander off!"
"Roaaar!"
Onix began twisting its body wildly. When Charmander refused to let go, Onix rammed into a nearby rock, hoping to use the opportunity to knock Charmander unconscious.
Thud! A muffled crash rang out!
The rock shattered, stirring up a large cloud of dust.
Suddenly, Charmander leaped out of the smoke, with no serious injuries and only a few minor scrapes.
Brock seized the moment and shouted, "Onix! Use Bind!"
As his words fell, a stone tail emerged from the smoke and instantly
