Charizard swung his claws, blue flames condensing around his hands into blue dragon claws. Then he beat his wings and charged straight at Shiny Aerodactyl.
Ever since Charmeleon had evolved into Mega Fire Dragon, his Dragon Claw had become even more solid than before.
Naturally, Shiny Aerodactyl refused to back down and used Dragon Claw as well.
When the two Dragon Claws collided, Lin Guang's Charizard ultimately came out on top.
Although the opening Dragon Claw had only been a probing attack, Shiny Aerodactyl had gauged his opponent's level: this Charizard was stronger than him.
But as the king of the skies in ancient times, Aerodactyl did not excel in contests of strength. What Shiny Aerodactyl took the most pride in was his speed.

This Pokémon was also the strongest of all the Pokémon Lin Guang had encountered.
With a sweep of his wings, Shiny Aerodactyl abruptly shot backward, putting distance between himself and Charizard, then used Agility to boost his speed once more.
But Charizard's body had been tempered by the Power Stone. Speed was no longer his weakness.

Charizard roared furiously, caught up with Shiny Aerodactyl in the blink of an eye, and attacked him with Dragon Claw.
Shiny Aerodactyl had never expected this Charizard to be able to keep up with his speed. It was practically impossible, yet it had happened.

Although Aerodactyl did not have the Dragon type, this king among Aerodactyl, Shiny Aerodactyl, was a Rock- and Dragon-type Pokémon, so Charizard's blow dealt significant damage.
It also showed Aerodactyl once again just
