Back at his residence, Lin Guang found Shinobu Kocho and Mitsuri Kanroji in his room, then reunited with Tanjiro and checked on Shinobu’s potion research.

• Lin Guang gave Shinobu Kocho a potion, asked her to train Tanjiro and the others after they recovered, and left to take another mission.
• After a month of missions, Lin Guang noticed that Rose’s mark had not alerted him to her killing any demons, then headed back to headquarters.
• Rose emerged from an icy cave with powers gained from her Master’s blood, created ice spiders, and set off to hunt a demon.
• Lin Guang returned to his newly built residence, where he startled Shinobu Kocho and Mitsuri Kanroji in his bed and fled to the sofa.
• The next morning, Lin Guang found Tanjiro training, learned Zenitsu and Inosuke had skipped practice, and promised to get them training again.
• Lin Guang visited Shinobu Kocho, who handed him a bottle of her prepared potion and asked him to test its effectiveness.

Lin Guang and Shinobu Kocho confessed their feelings and shared a kiss before heading to the training room to help Zenitsu and Inosuke learn Total Concentration: Constant. There, Lin Guang and Shinobu challenged Inosuke to push himself after he and Zenitsu struggled with the technique.

• Lin Guang drank Shinobu Kocho’s bitter medicine, and Shinobu explained that she and Mitsuri had cleaned his estate and stayed the night.
• Lin Guang kissed Shinobu and promised to take care of her, and Shinobu accepted and leaned against him.
• Shinobu told Lin Guang that Tanjiro was learning Total Concentration: Constant and that Zenitsu and Inosuke were having trouble, so they went to the training room.
• Shinobu guided Zenitsu and Inosuke through the technique, but they soon gave up, and Tanjiro explained how he practiced it.
• Lin Guang and Shinobu teased Inosuke about failing to master the technique, urging him to try harder.

Lin Guang encouraged Kanao to act on her own feelings, gave Shinobu Kocho a supply of potions, and gained new abilities from treasure chests. After Muzan addressed the deaths of Lower Rank Demons, Lin Guang received orders to join Kyojuro Rengoku at the Mugen Train, where over forty people had gone missing.

• Lin Guang and Shinobu Kocho encouraged Kanao to join Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu in training, and Lin Guang urged her to follow her heart.
• Lin Guang gave Shinobu Kocho attribute-boosting potions to keep for her research and share with Tanjiro and the others.
• Lin Guang learned that Spider Mother Rose had killed Lower Rank Three-Wakuraba, then opened the resulting chests and gained Mind Perception and Poison Resistance.

Lin Guang joined Kyojuro Rengoku on the Mugen Train mission and arranged for Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira to accompany them. After meeting Rengoku aboard the train, Tanjiro began asking him about his father.

• Lin Guang asked Kagaya Ubuyashiki to send Tanjiro and his companions on his mission, and Kagaya had already assigned them to the Mugen Train.
• Shinobu Kocho separately asked Kagaya to let Tanjiro and the others accompany Lin Guang, explaining her reasons for recommending Tanjiro.
• Lin Guang arrived at the Mugen Train and found Kyojuro Rengoku eating; Rengoku welcomed him and shared a meal.
• Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke joined Lin Guang and Rengoku, and Rengoku accepted Nezuko after noting Kagaya's approval.

After the train’s conductor punched their tickets, the passengers fell asleep and demons appeared; Rengoku defeated one, while Lin Guang confronted another.

• Tanjiro told Kyojuro Rengoku about his father’s kagura and asked what he knew about Hinokami Kagura, but Rengoku said he had never heard of it.
• Kyojuro Rengoku explained the five basic Breathing styles, learned that Tanjiro’s blade was black, and invited him to train as his successor.
• Lin Guang explained that more than forty people had disappeared from the train and warned Zenitsu that a demon might be aboard.
• The conductor punched the group’s tickets, the lights flickered, and the passengers fell asleep before a huge demon appeared in the carriage.
• Kyojuro Rengoku killed the huge demon with Flame Breathing: First Form, then Lin Guang entered the next carriage and rescued a passenger from a long-armed demon.
• Lin Guang faced the long-armed demon and attacked it with Ice Breathing: First Form.

Lin Guang resisted Enmu’s dream and discovered that Lower Rank One was waiting on the train roof. As Tanjiro returned to guard the sleeping passengers, Lin Guang began fighting Enmu with Ice Breathing.

• Lin Guang broke free of his dream, restrained the boy who attacked him, and found Kyojuro Rengoku holding a girl by the neck.
• Nezuko burned the ropes binding Tanjiro and the others, then stayed behind to watch over them while Lin Guang went to the train roof.
• Lin Guang encountered Enmu, Lower Rank One of the Twelve Kizuki, and Tanjiro awakened and returned to the carriage to protect the passengers.
• Enmu noticed Tanjiro’s earrings and celebrated the chance to gain more of Muzan’s blood, while Lin Guang drew his frost-covered Nichirin Blade.

Lin Guang fought Enmu after the demon fused with the train, while Kyojuro Rengoku and the others protected the passengers. Lin Guang found Enmu’s neck and killed him, leaving Tanjiro to guard the unconscious Train Conductor.

• Lin Guang avoided Enmu’s sleep attacks, cut off his head, and learned that Enmu had fused with the train.
• Lin Guang called on Kyojuro Rengoku, Tanjiro, and the others to protect the passengers while he searched for Enmu’s neck.
• Lin Guang found Enmu’s weak spot in the locomotive and defeated the Train Conductor when he attacked, then handed him to Tanjiro to guard.

Lin Guang devoured Enmu after defeating him and learned that the train passengers were safe. Akaza appeared and attacked Tanjiro, but Kyojuro Rengoku intervened; after Tanjiro and Inosuke left to evacuate passengers, Akaza urged Lin Guang and Kyojuro to become demons.

• Lin Guang collected Enmu's blood, devoured him with Predator, and received treasure chests and new skills.
• Kyojuro Rengoku told Lin Guang that the passengers were safe, though several were injured.
• Akaza appeared, recognized Tanjiro by his earrings, and lunged at him, but Kyojuro Rengoku cut through Akaza's arm to stop the attack.

• Lin Guang and Kyojuro Rengoku coordinated their sword techniques against Akaza, while Lin Guang relied on Spirit Eye and Mind Perception to track his attacks.

• Lin Guang and Kyojuro Rengoku rejected Akaza’s offer and charged at him together.
• Lin Guang severed Akaza’s left hand, and Kyojuro Rengoku cut off his right hand, but Akaza regenerated both and resumed fighting.
• Lin Guang grew stronger during the battle, while he and Kyojuro Rengoku repeatedly attacked Akaza with their Breathing techniques.

Lin Guang and Kyojuro Rengoku fought Akaza together, but their combined ultimate attacks failed to defeat him, and Akaza fled at sunrise. Lin Guang later woke at the Butterfly Mansion, where Shinobu Kocho cared for him and learned that Kyojuro had suffered more serious injuries.

• Lin Guang and Kyojuro Rengoku combined their Ice and Flame Breathing forms to attack Akaza, but Akaza's final technique overwhelmed them and left both severely injured.
• Akaza fled when the sun began to rise, and Kyojuro collapsed; Lin Guang pretended to collapse too, then fell asleep after Tanjiro and Inosuke reached them.
• Lin Guang woke in a private room at the Butterfly Mansion, where Shinobu Kocho embraced him and scolded him for frightening her.

• Tanjiro apologized to Lin Guang for being too weak to help, and Lin Guang praised his efforts to protect the passengers.
• Mitsuri Kanroji brought a large meal for Lin Guang, and she, Lin Guang, and Shinobu Kocho ate together.
• Shinobu examined Lin Guang and found him fully recovered, after which they became intimate.
• Lin Guang spoke with Kanae Kocho’s soul and promised to stay by Shinobu’s side; he asked whether Kanae would return if he could give her a body.

After recovering from the battle with Akaza, Lin Guang reported the Upper Rank demon’s abilities to Kagaya Ubuyashiki and returned to the Butterfly Mansion. He reunited with Kyojuro Rengoku and learned more about Shinobu Kocho’s potion research before opening his treasure chests.

• Shinobu Kocho kissed Lin Guang goodbye before he left to report to Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
• Lin Guang told Kagaya Ubuyashiki how he fought Enmu and Akaza and explained Akaza’s abilities.
• Lin Guang returned to the Butterfly Mansion, where Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were training, and visited the recovered Kyojuro Rengoku.
• Shinobu Kocho told Lin Guang that his potions contained energy that strengthened the body and that exercise or combat helped absorb it.

Lin Guang opened his remaining treasure chests and gained several resistances, combat skills, and a one-use divine artifact, the Magical Scissors. He learned that Silver Treasure Chests could grant the spirit host physique he wanted for Kanae Kocho, then waited for her and greeted her when she arrived.

• Lin Guang opened ten Bronze Treasure Chests and three Black Iron Treasure Chests, receiving new resistances, techniques, and scrolls he planned to share with Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.
• The system upgraded his duplicate Poison Resistance and Mind Control into poison immunity and Mental Control, and Lin Guang tested his Summoning Technique before deciding not to summon Rose near the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kanae Kocho agreed to remain with Lin Guang and watch over Shinobu until Shinobu found peace or got revenge. After giving Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu new skill scrolls, Lin Guang reached his mission site and found Rose fighting another demon.

• Lin Guang persuaded Kanae Kocho to stay until Shinobu Kocho let go of her grief or got revenge, and Kanae promised to leave if Lin Guang could not help by then.
• After resting for seven days, Lin Guang gave Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu scrolls containing Iron Body, Kami-e, and Shave, respectively.
• Lin Guang traveled to his next mission and noticed unusual cold and many spiders near the site.

Lin Guang met Rose after she killed a demon and learned that absorbing demons had brought back Muzan Kibutsuji’s influence over her. He purified the curse and, after the two became intimate, left her with dawn approaching.

• Lin Guang gave Rose two new outfits, and she changed into a pale blue qipao.
• Rose told Lin Guang that his blood had given her ice abilities and that absorbing demons made her stronger but let Muzan Kibutsuji watch her again.

• Rose left Lin Guang before sunrise, and Lin Guang altered the Kasugai Crow’s memories to conceal what had happened to the demons.
• Over the next three months, Lin Guang trained with Tanjiro and the others, went on missions, sent blood samples to Tamayo, and learned more ninjutsu.
• Lin Guang’s treasure chests helped Shinobu Kocho, Rose, Tanjiro, and his companions master the Six Powers or improve their abilities.
• Tengen Uzui arrived at the Butterfly Mansion and tried to take Aoi Kanzaki and the caregiver Nao with him for a mission.
• Kanao and the other girls resisted Tengen, and Tanjiro rushed in to stop him but failed to land a headbutt.

Tengen Uzui recruited Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke for a mission in the Entertainment District, and Lin Guang joined them to pursue a chance at an Upper Rank Demon’s treasure. The five arrived at the Yoshiwara Pleasure District that night.

• Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke volunteered to accompany Tengen Uzui on his mission instead of Aoi Kanzaki.
• Lin Guang learned the mission was in the Entertainment District and asked to join, then encouraged Kanao before leaving.
• Tengen Uzui declared himself the Festival God and Lin Guang his Shin priest, then set off ahead with Lin Guang.
• Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke hurried after Tengen Uzui and Lin Guang, while Aoi Kanzaki and the nursing girls wished them a safe trip.

Lin Guang and Tengen Uzui brought Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke to the Yoshiwara Pleasure District to investigate demons and find Uzui’s missing wives. After explaining the district and reviewing the wives’ letters, Uzui prepared to disguise the group for their infiltration.

• Tengen Uzui warned the group to stay in their rickshaws, but Zenitsu and Inosuke jumped out, and Tanjiro followed them into the district.
• Inosuke charged into the crowd and Tengen Uzui knocked him out; Zenitsu wandered off toward some women before Uzui knocked him out too.
• Tengen Uzui showed Lin Guang and the others around the district and explained its courtesans and oiran.
• At a Wisteria Family household, Tengen Uzui told Tanjiro and the others to find his wives while he and Lin Guang gathered information on demons.
• Tengen Uzui explained that his three wives had been undercover and that their reports had stopped, then showed the group their letters.
• After reading the letters, Tanjiro asked what they should do, and Tengen Uzui said they would disguise themselves.

Lin Guang infiltrated Tokito House to investigate Tengen Uzui’s missing wife, Suma, and learned from Koinatsu that Suma had run away. He pretended to get drunk and fell asleep, leaving Koinatsu to attend to another customer.

• Tengen Uzui assigned Lin Guang to visit three suspicious establishments while he delivered Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke in disguise.
• Lin Guang headed to Tokito House, where he learned that Koinatsu was its oiran and Suma had supposedly been bought out.
• Lin Guang pretended to be angry about Suma’s absence, and Koinatsu returned from her procession and spoke with him.
• Lin Guang told Koinatsu he had known Suma as a child, and she revealed that Suma had run away according to her diary.

Lin Guang investigated the Entertainment District with Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Tengen Uzui, uncovering hidden passages and locating Daki's underground food storehouse. At the scheduled check-in, Tengen Uzui told Tanjiro and Inosuke that Zenitsu would not be coming.

• Lin Guang met Tanjiro, disguised as Sumiko, and told him what he learned about Suma's disappearance.
• Lin Guang used Mind Perception to find Makio tied up and discover hidden caverns and passages beneath the brothels.
• Lin Guang and Tengen Uzui concluded that an Upper Rank demon was likely hiding in the Entertainment District.
• Lin Guang followed a sash through an underground passage to locate Daki's food storehouse, then learned from Inosuke that a demon had escaped after injuring someone.

Lin Guang and Tengen Uzui investigated the disappearances at Kyogoku House and identified the oiran Warabihime as their suspect. Tanjiro encountered Upper Rank Six Daki, who was holding Koinatsu in her sashes.

• Tengen Uzui told Tanjiro and Inosuke to leave the investigation, and Lin Guang explained that Uzui was trying to protect them before assigning them tasks.
• Lin Guang joined Tengen Uzui in watching Kyogoku House, and they questioned its owner after nightfall.
• The owner named Warabihime as the most suspicious oiran and revealed that her room was on the north side of the house.

• Lin Guang joined Tanjiro's fight with Daki and severed her sash attacks, prompting her to absorb her sash clone and transform.
• Daki attacked a nearby shopkeeper, but Lin Guang blocked all eight sashes and told the man to evacuate the civilians.
• Lin Guang cut off Daki's head with one slash, then left Tanjiro to go help Tengen Uzui and Inosuke.
• Lin Guang taunted Daki about her weakness and questioned her Upper Rank status until she cried for her brother.
• Gyutaro appeared, took Daki to the rooftop corner, and helped her reattach her head.

Lin Guang and Tengen Uzui fought Gyutaro and Daki, then split the battle so Lin Guang could face Daki while Tengen and the others fought Gyutaro. Lin Guang used Mental Control to get Daki talking, and she began describing the cruelty of life in the Entertainment District.

• Lin Guang attacked Gyutaro, who blocked his strike and revealed his jealousy of Lin Guang’s appearance.
• Tengen Uzui arrived and joined Lin Guang, while Gyutaro defended Daki and threatened their attackers.
• Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke joined the fight, and Lin Guang explained that both demons needed to be beheaded at the same time.
• Lin Guang and Tengen split the teams, with Lin Guang pursuing Daki and Tengen, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke facing Gyutaro.
