As he spoke, he reached out and pinched Cordis's cheek.
Just as Cordis's fury was showing on his face, the announcement suddenly came over the speakers.
[We will be departing shortly. All passengers, please remain seated.]
Cordis gave a resentful snort at that and reluctantly sat down beside Hisoka, who had outright stolen his original seat.
It happened to be right beside Chrollo.
Seeing that the airship was about to take off while Hisoka remained calmly in his seat, legs crossed and showing no intention of leaving, Chrollo turned to him.
With an expressionless face, he demanded, "How long have you been following us?"
Hisoka showed none of the embarrassment or urgency of someone caught doing something so shameful. Instead, he propped his head on his hand and said indifferently, "Hmm?~ Don't tell me our dear boss never knew I was following you?~"
Chrollo merely smiled calmly at Hisoka's provocation. "I noticed. I just didn't expect it to be you."
Cordis, sitting beside them, looked at Chrollo in confusion. "You noticed? Why didn't you tell me?"
Chrollo's lips curved helplessly, but just as he was about to speak, Hisoka tapped Cordis's head with a finger and said with a smile,
"Because you're not very bright~"
Cordis's attention immediately shifted from Chrollo to Hisoka. He slapped Hisoka's hand away and shouted, "I scored ninety-eight out of a hundred on the test!"
At that, Cordis even rubbed his nose proudly and said, "You probably couldn't even get a passing score."
But Hisoka had already leaned back in his seat, biting into an apple he'd pulled from inside his clothes. "Hmm? A test? I think I'd already left by then~" he mumbled.
Then he held the half-eaten apple to Cordis's mouth, teasing him like a puppy. "Oh my~ Pai Pai is so clever~
