The moment she pushed open the door, A Luo's gaze was drawn entirely to the enormous stone occupying the middle of the courtyard.
The stone was a dull black, without the slightest luster, yet every inch of it radiated incomparable vitality, a mysterious allure capable of beguiling all living things.
A Luo felt as though all her wandering through this world had been for the sake of returning here. Returning to the stone was where she belonged.
Yet aside from her, no one present could see the massive thing in the middle of the courtyard.
All Chrollo saw was A Luo pushing open the door, then muttering eerily about going home as though she had lost her mind and walking toward the center of the courtyard.
Knowing something was wrong, Chrollo grabbed A Luo.
"What did you see?"
Unexpectedly, A Luo suddenly went wild, biting, kicking, and hitting Chrollo, seemingly ready to fight him to the death to break free of his grip.
Seeing that something was wrong and that A Luo's struggles were growing increasingly frantic, Chrollo glanced back at Machi.
Machi understood. She immediately spun a Nen thread between her fingers and attached it directly to A Luo.
Only then did Chrollo let go, allowing A Luo to walk toward the center of the courtyard, muttering eerily just as she had before.
But none of them expected the little girl to vanish into thin air the instant she stepped into the courtyard's center.
Even Machi's Nen thread was severed by a mysterious force and fell limply to the ground.

Meanwhile, inside the barrier the Spiders could not see, A Luo finally reached the huge black stone. She pressed her face against it, her heart filled with relief and satisfaction.
