The Deep's body instantly went rigid from the hit. Unable to scream anymore, he plummeted straight toward the empty ground.

Josen spun the Hyper Railgun in his hand around his index finger and slipped it into the holster at his waist, looking at the blonde beside him in confusion.

Starlight let out a laugh. She didn't know why, but she felt especially good.
"Are you a member of The Seven too? I still don't know your name."
"Yes, I joined a little before you. In secret," Josen made up on the spot. "You can call me Flash, or Jonathan."
"All right, Jonathan. You can call me Starlight, or Annie."
"Okay, Annie. Want to grab a drink?"
"Of course. I've been so busy today that I haven't had time for dinner."
