Mingye claimed the Five Thunder Finger, forged the Thunder Rage and Evil Swords, and strengthened the Demon Wolf Tribe as he prepared for the Leopard Cat Tribe’s assault. After destroying the Leopard King’s army, Mingye accepted Tōga’s invitation to visit the Dog Tribe base.

• Mingye defeated the Three-Headed Demon Wolf and claimed the Five Thunder Finger, then returned to find the Demon Wolf Tribe had repelled an attack by the Leopard Cat Tribe.
• Mingye had Hairinbō forge the Thunder Rage Sword and the Evil Sword, defeated the Hundred Demon Bats to obtain their Barrier Secret Art, and gained a Healing Gem when a golden monkey followed him.
• Mingye returned to Bluestone Mountain and destroyed the Leopard vanguard, then set up a Guardian Barrier and gave the old chief scrolls containing secret arts for the tribe to learn.
• The Leopard King led eight thousand Leopard Tribe members toward Bluestone Mountain, while Red Evil Ogre approached on Tōga’s behalf to invite Mingye to the Dog Tribe.
• Mingye and Chongli fought the Leopard army as Mingye killed the Leopard King and cut down the remaining forces, while the Healing Gem helped Chongli recover from his wounds.
• Mingye confronted Red Evil Ogre after the battle, accepted Tōga’s invitation, and agreed to visit the Dog Tribe base in three days.

Mingye helped the Dog Tribe defend Dog Castle and protect Izayoi and Inuyasha while Tōga faced the Greater Yokai. The siege ended with the enemy armies defeated, but the Dog Tribe suffered heavy losses as Mingye pursued the power of the Netherworld Stone.

• Mingye joined forces with Tōga, tested his strength against him, and warned him that Ryūkotsusei and Setsuna no Takemaru threatened his family.
• Ryūkotsusei joined Setsuna no Takemaru in a plot to attack Dog Castle while Michinaga and Flying Moth ambushed Tōga, and Red Evil Ogre and Qitian died confronting Ryūkotsusei.
• Mingye went to Dog Castle and killed the demon army and Setsuna no Takemaru’s soldiers, then defeated Setsuna no Takemaru himself.
• Mingye entered a profound state of cultivation through the Netherworld Stone as Izayoi gave birth to Inuyasha.
• Sesshomaru fought the Four Heavenly Kings, while Tōga faced Michinaga, Flying Moth, and Ryūkotsusei in battle.
• Sesshomaru helped turn the battle against the Leopard Cat and Moth Demon armies, though the Dog Tribe had already lost more than half its soldiers and most of its weaker allies.
• Tōga fused Tessaiga and Sōunga to unleash Hell Dragon Explosive Flow Break, which overwhelmed and killed Michinaga, Flying Moth, and Ryūkotsusei.

After Tōga’s victory leaves him gravely weakened, Mingye secures half the Western Country and strengthens the Demon Wolf Tribe while the Ice Wolf Lineage moves against them. The arc ends with Mingye confronting Hyōrinmaru as their armies clash at Bluestone Mountain.

• Tōga returned to Dog Castle, named his newborn son Inuyasha, and granted Mingye half the Western Country while promising rare materials in return for his help.
• Sesshomaru waged battles to grow stronger, while Tōga’s injuries worsened and Hyōrinmaru plotted to exploit his weakness and turn Sesshomaru against him.
• Hyōrinmaru’s Ice Wolves attacked Bluestone Mountain, but Mingye and the Demon Wolf Tribe defeated them, captured Bing Jiling, and sent Ice Wolves to Hairinbō’s forging pool.
• Hairinbō reforged Thunder Rage Sword into the Nether Thunder Blade, and Mingye ordered the tribe to prepare for Hyōrinmaru’s next attack.
• Sesshomaru learned that Hyōrinmaru had arranged the Evil Sword to provoke a fight with Tōga, then accepted Tenseiga from his father and left Dog Castle.
• Mingye trained Akamaru and revealed his ambition to rule the Demon World and claim the Underworld, then ordered the tribe to prepare for Hyōrinmaru.
• Hyōrinmaru led over ten thousand Ice Wolf Warriors against Bluestone Mountain, while Mingye carried him away and the Demon Wolf Army attacked his forces.
• Mingye slammed Hyōrinmaru into the ground and blocked his attacks with Slay Gods and Demons, leaving Hyōrinmaru stunned by his strength.

Mingye defeated the Ice Wolf and White Tiger forces, protected Tōga’s family, and claimed Sōunga after Tōga’s death. As Fūzetsuga’s vast army invaded the Western Country, Mingye faced him and the war began.

• Mingye defeated Hyōrinmaru, then fought Sesshomaru and won, while the Ice Wolf King marched south and Fūzetsuga sent White Tiger warriors to seize Ice Wolf Valley.
• Mingye cultivated at Bluestone Mountain as Miroku brought him the Diamond Essence and Bokusen Tree Branch, and learned that Tōga could only be healed by the Nirvana Flame.
• The Ice Wolf King attacked with thirty thousand soldiers, but Mingye killed him and the Demon Wolf Army crushed the Ice Wolf forces.
• Tōga asked Mingye to protect Izayoi, Inuyasha, and the Dog Tribe in exchange for Sōunga, then entered the Space Between Life and Death and died.
• Fūyō and ten thousand White Tiger warriors attacked Dog Castle, defeated Sesshomaru, and were stopped by Mingye, who killed Fūyō and nearly the entire White Tiger Legion.
• Mingye brought Izayoi and Inuyasha to Bluestone Mountain, where Chongli reported Fūzetsuga’s approach with seventy-one thousand yokai, and Mingye retrieved and subdued Sōunga in the Space Between Life and Death.
• Tōtōsai unsealed Meidō Zangetsuha within Tenseiga for Sesshomaru, who set out with Jaken to face the Northern Country’s demons.
• Fūzetsuga led the Northern Country’s forces to the border and demanded Mingye’s death, but Mingye appeared as a Great Yokai and faced him as the war began.
