While Kiriha and MetalGreymon were cutting down the Lady Devimon, terrifying explosions kept ringing out inside the Castle. The swarming Lady Devimon attacked the Castle like maniacs and finally blew the roof off Moonlight City.
"Shoutmon X5, use Meteor Impact!" Taiki shouted.
"Roger!" Shoutmon X5 answered, golden light blazing from his fist. That golden light shot toward Moonlight Myotismon.
"What?" Shoutmon X5 exclaimed in disbelief. Moonlight Myotismon held both hands in front of his chest and simply caught Shoutmon X5's glowing golden fist, stopping Meteor Impact.
Grinning viciously, Moonlight Myotismon hurled Shoutmon X5 away. He spread his wings, displaying the patterns etched into them for everyone to see.
"What is that thing? I feel so sleepy. I just want to sleep." Yin Yin certainly could not let herself fall asleep like this. She grabbed her hair and yanked hard, finally regaining a little awareness.
Moonlight Myotismon's finishing move was Nightmare Raid, which could drag his enemies into nightmares. At his command, six hideous Dream Eaters pounced on Shoutmon X5 and sank their teeth into him. Shoutmon X5 remained conscious, but his strength was falling asleep bit by bit. The Dream Eaters' power could put the entire world to sleep, whether its targets were living beings, inanimate objects, or energy. The weak Amano Yin Yin had nearly fallen asleep just from seeing the patterns representing the Dream Eaters.
This is bad. I've lost control of my body. I have to think of something else. As Shoutmon X5 thought, a terrifying shock wave surged in from the distance and slammed into his front. An impact like that was only a little uncomfortable for Shoutmon X5 or MetalGreymon, but for the weak Dream Eaters, it was utter devastation.
