"You vile humans! I'll kill every last one of you!" Kiwimon roared. Then he drew a deep breath, sucking in more than half the thick fog filling the Digimon battle arena. The remaining fog swirled around him.
"Card slash! Energy Boost B!" Takato slapped his pocket, and a card floated out.
"Pyro Sphere! Pyro Sphere! Pyro Sphere!" Guilmon attacked desperately, heedless of his own limits.
"It's no use, Takato. He's about to digivolve. Our attacks won't do any good right now. Let Guilmon rest and get ready for the next fight," Ruki urged.
"Damn it, why isn't Henry here yet? We can't beat an Ultimate Digimon on our own." Takato's voice was subdued.
"I don't know. I already told Henry before I came." Ruki took out her phone and checked it, only then remembering that there was no signal inside the Digimon battle arena.
"Kiwimon digivolve to... Mirage Beast!"
