After learning that Chen Si had defeated Marcel, the defenders in southern Marley abandoned their resistance one after another. The southern Marleyan Royal Guard, which had been marching toward Cliff Harbor, chose to camp where they were and await orders. The war in the south had come to a temporary end.

Hange comforted Mike nearby, but she kept glancing at Levi out of the corner of her eye. She knew no one could comfort Levi except Levi himself.
"Chris loved the Sea and the beach. I want to bury her somewhere along the coast," Levi said, sitting beside Chen Si with his eyes lowered.
"All right," Chen Si replied.
"Tell me about her hometown." Levi's voice had grown considerably softer.
"Her hometown was called Seoul. It was in a country neighboring my homeland..." Chen Si began recounting everything he had learned from his conversations with Chris.
"Perhaps she
