Chen Si followed her gaze and saw... Mikasa. His expression jolted. What did this mean? Did they still need Mikasa after all?
"I'm willing to help her," Ymir said.
"Can you guarantee she'll be safe in every timeline?"
Ymir hesitated briefly before answering, "If you truly love each other."
"Don't doubt it. Begin." Chen Si didn't hesitate at all.
Ymir began drawing on Chen Si's power of thunder, altering it to make it gentler, then slowly guiding it into the body of "Mikasa" in the vision.
Watching this, Chen Si couldn't help feeling puzzled. He couldn't understand how Ymir's technique could carry that power intact across so many times and spaces to Mikasa.
As she transferred the power, Ymir suddenly trembled. She had just sensed a trace of power carrying a grotesque aura mingling with the energy she was transmitting. After a brief hesitation, she continued sending it in.
Chen Si sighed in relief at the sight. At least Mikasa's safety was assured, but he was still worried. The version of himself in this timeline looked far too weak.
Just then, through Ymir's perspective, he saw a translucent figure in the vision.
Eren? Chen Si frowned slightly. What was Eren doing?
As though sensing Chen Si's thoughts, Ymir used some unknown method to bring them both to Eren's side. Chen Si probed with his mental energy and discovered that Eren was actually erasing the memories he had transmitted-and doing so selectively!
"Eren! You..." Chen Si had barely spoken when Eren turned and blasted him and Ymir out again. They both fell onto the silver sand in Paths.
Ymir struggled for a moment before getting to her feet.
"Even you're no match for Eren?" Chen Si asked in surprise.
"In every cycle, you only ever have two choices: see the future
