"Then tell me your plan." At that, Pixis narrowed his eyes again and looked at them kindly.
The Survey Corps had finished its expedition beyond the walls and returned to provide reinforcements.
After slaying one Titan, a Survey Corps soldier had the misfortune of being caught in another Titan's mouth.
"Captain Levi will make you bastards..." the soldier roared defiantly at the Titan, but before he could finish-
A grappling hook struck the distant Tower, and Levi swept past at speed, landing lightly on a rooftop.
The Titan's nape was sliced clean off. It collapsed and began releasing steam, saving the soldier.
"Captain, the reinforcements have assembled!" announced Petra Ral, a female soldier with short, light brown hair and golden eyes.
"Petra, look after the wounded down below. Everyone else, reinforce the right flank. I'll handle the enemies on the left." With his orders given, Levi turned and flew toward the left flank.
"Captain!" Petra called out worriedly. Though he was exceptionally strong, there were far too many Titans on that side.
The captain cut down the four Titans on the left flank as easily as chopping vegetables.
"Tch. Filthy." Levi frowned at the blood on his hands.
In the distance, Hange, her hair in a high ponytail, landed before a Titan. She spread her arms and smiled at it as she called:
"It's all right! I won't let it hurt!"
Hange easily dodged the Titan's punch, then shot forward in an instant. Both blades swept down, slicing away its nape.
The Titan collapsed instantly.
"Aha! See? I told you it wouldn't hurt." Hange's voice was like a demon's whisper, warm yet terrifying.
Elsewhere, as Petra treated a wounded soldier, three Titans suddenly emerged around her and closed in.
Petra gritted her teeth and braced herself.
