Coming to his senses, Chen Si saw Sasha beside him, miserably stuffing apples into her mouth. He hurriedly coaxed and bribed her, promising all kinds of Marley delicacies, until she finally agreed not to tell Mikasa.
Chen Si breathed a sigh of relief. He could just go to Marley later, kidnap a few chefs, and give them to Sasha. Dealing with Mikasa was much harder than killing people.
Chen Si followed Historia to the camp to visit Mina first.
"Hey, Mina! Miss me?" Chen Si called out with a grin as soon as he walked through the door.
Historia suddenly pinched his arm hard, then shot him a vicious glare.
Seeing that, Chen Si hurriedly wiped the smile off his face and adopted a solemn expression. He straightened a nonexistent belt, instantly looking like an official on an inspection tour.
Delighted to see Chen Si, Mina hurriedly stood up and said:
"Top Graduate!"
"Enough with the Top Graduate stuff. I'm not the Top Graduate anymore. Mikasa is. Hehe, they revoked my title," Chen Si said with a slight smile.
"What?!" Historia and Mina exclaimed in unison.
"Why?" Mina asked, puzzled.
"Oh, nothing much. I just cursed out a few old fossils and offended them." Chen Si left out the part about nearly being branded a traitor and starting a civil war.
"Chen Si! You can't keep swearing all the time! You even lied to me before and said 'dumbfuck' meant 'adorable fool,'" Historia complained, planting her hands on her hips and pouting.
"Okay, okay, okay. No swearing. Absolutely none!" Chen Si raised a hand in solemn promise, then thought that he would have to use some new insults from now on. He would teach them to Eren and Jean first, then claim he had learned them from those two. Perfect!
