"We can't retreat! We have to hold on. At the very least, we owe it to Chen Si and the other soldiers fighting through blood for us," Ian said through gritted teeth.
"But what good will killing a hundred Titans do? If we can't seal the breach, they'll just keep coming! Once we're surrounded by Titans, how many can Chen Si stop on his own? Sooner or later, we'll all die here!" Though Rico deeply admired Chen Si's strength, she argued based on the reality of their situation.

In an instant, a figure drenched in blood came hurtling over, trailing a long plume of smoke and crackling arcs of electricity.
"Did he take a bath in Titan blood?" Mitabi asked in shock.
"What is he going to do?" an Elite Squad member asked, watching Chen Si head straight toward Eren.
Chen Si leaped onto the seated Eren's face, a thick layer of energy gathering in his palm.
"This slap is for Aunt Carla. It won't be too hard." With that, Chen Si swung his palm into Eren's face, knocking his head ninety degrees to the side and leaving a scorch mark on his cheek.
Eren opened his huge, savage green eyes and glared at Chen Si.
"Oh-ho, still acting tough, huh?"
"This fucking slap is for my Mikasa!" The energy gathered in Chen Si's palm instantly grew brighter. He swung his hand, slapping Eren's entire face into the ground.
The earth shattered with a thunderous crash, but Chen Si had controlled his strength, intending to inflict only superficial injuries. Besides, an intelligent Titan could take far more punishment than a pure Titan. That slap would have blown a pure Titan apart.
