Sensing the Titan reaching for her from behind, Carla threw herself to the side and fell to the ground. She winced as pain shot through her body, barely avoiding Bean's palm, but the blow smashed open Zeyechuan's cell.
Carla hurriedly raised her head and looked inside the cell. Two chains hung empty, with nothing attached to them.
"Eren..." Carla's eyes widened. While she stood there stunned, the 7-Meter Class Titan beside her—the one Hange had named Sonny—snatched her up.
Outside Survey Corps Headquarters.
"That's Bean roaring! What's going on? How did the Titans break free?" Hange immediately recognized the voice of one of the Titans. Her brows knitted, and she spurred her slowing horse back into a gallop.
"A Titan's voice! Did the two Titans Hange's Squad captured escape?!" Eren asked anxiously.
Looks like we didn't make it in time. What's going on? Didn't Annie kill those two Titans with a single slash each? How did they get loose?
"It should be fine. Survey Corps Headquarters can handle two Titans," Chen Si said, not particularly worried. Mike was still there, after all. One was seven meters tall and the other five; even the other Survey Corps soldiers could kill them without much trouble, especially at Headquarters.
"Something's wrong. Look at those flames. This must be a planned attack. If everyone was asleep and the Armory was ambushed, the Titans could very well cause casualties," Zhang Surou analyzed gravely.
"Fortunately, I took precautions against this possibility. The Titans are quite far from the dormitories. Zeyechuan's cell is completely sealed, and its iron door is sealed shut, too. His cell is right beside the Titans, so it should at least hold them up for a while. If Zeyechuan has any tricks up his sleeve, this will force him to reveal them.
