"Oh, Bai Yu, who's that on your back?"
Hange looked at Bai Yu as he approached and asked in puzzlement.
"Ah, Eren. I'll be leaving him to you later. You're the expert in this field, after all."
Hange was confused for a moment. She was the expert in this field? Suddenly, as though something had clicked, her pupils widened slightly. The next instant, she was beside Bai Yu, reaching out to touch Eren's hand gently, her eyes brimming with fascination.
"Are you saying this guy is a Titan too?"
Her question was filled with anticipation.
The way she acted made the hairs on Eren's back stand on end.
"Wh-what do you mean, a Titan?!"
Bai Yu had Xiate push her back a little.
"That's right, but I still need to take him to see Commander Erwin. He'll probably put you and Levi in charge of Eren afterward. For now, calm down!"
Bai Yu took two steps back and asked Hange to take him to the Commander.
Hange shrugged.
"I think the Commander just went to see those Titans. Come wait in the office with me."
"I thought you'd want to be the first to see Reiner and the others."
"I did, but the Commander said we needed to make sure their holding area was secure."
What on earth are they talking about?! What do Reiner and the others have to do with Titans?
Eren listened to them in utter bewilderment. And what did they mean, he was a Titan too?!
After a while, Erwin pushed open the office door and found Bai Yu, Xiate, Eren, and Hange sitting inside.
"Commander Erwin!"
It was Eren who spoke. They had met before, when Erwin had come to ask him about his father and his memories. Erwin nodded lightly.
"What happened to Eren?"
