"Why are you two so scared? I'm not a demon. I'm not going to do anything to you." Smiling, Chinatsu rested a hand on each girl's head and stroked their hair. Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka froze for a moment before their startled expressions gradually softened.

"You really... won't do anything to us...?"

"Of course not. Besides, why would I do anything to two little girls? I'm not some pervert." Chinatsu planted one hand on her hip and huffed.

For the record, I, Chinatsu, have no interest in little girls!

It wasn't clear who that disclaimer was meant for, but she figured she should make it anyway, just in case anyone decided to draw their own conclusions about her kindhearted nature-or what she considered kindhearted, at least.

Hearing Chinatsu's answer, both girls instinctively pressed a hand to their chests and sighed in relief. Once Sakura Haruno recovered, she pressed her lips together and worked up the courage to ask Chinatsu a question.

"Excuse me! What... what's your relationship with Sasuke-kun?"

"I'm his sister. What else would I be? His mom?"

"Huh? His sister... r-right, of course..."

Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka blushed, looking adorably bewildered.

The Uchiha had been massacred, leaving only two orphans behind. Everyone in the village knew that, and these two were no exception. In the heat of the moment, however, it hadn't occurred to them at all.

So that was it! This gorgeous woman was Sasuke-kun's sister!

Both girls instantly felt at ease. Their hearts were as still as a tranquil lake, and they even felt that nothing that happened next could possibly rattle them.

Just then, Chinatsu placed her hands on their heads again. The girls blinked blankly as she smiled down at them and said, "You two... like my little brother, don't you?"

"Wh-what?!"

Both girls turned as red as overripe tomatoes. Girls generally matured earlier, but having someone bring up their crushes so bluntly shattered that tranquil composure in an instant.

"Hehe, there's no point pretending with me. Still, spying on someone and following them around aren't good habits. If you like Sasuke and want him to like you back, you'd be better off training hard than wasting your time doing that..."

At that point, Chinatsu deliberately leaned closer to their ears. Like a little devil whispering temptation, she said softly, "Sasuke likes strong girls. At the very least... you have to be on his level. Without that kind of strength, you won't even make his list of potential future wives~"

If the girls had possessed cat ears, everyone would have seen those ears snap upright at her words.

"Really?! That's the kind of girl Sasuke likes?!"

"Of course. Why would I lie?"

Neither girl was discouraged by Chinatsu's description of "Sasuke's taste in women." Instead, their eyes sparkled with hope.

As long as I get stronger, I might be able to be with Sasuke someday!

"Thank you, big sis! We'll be going now!"

The two girls bowed excitedly to Chinatsu, then ran off in delight. Chinatsu simply smiled and waved, silently mourning their prospects.

At least on Sasuke's level...

If you really think you can do it, go ahead and try. Six Paths level... boohoo, T_T. Even as someone who transmigrated here, I'm not confident I'll ever reach that realm. Only the most absurdly overpowered cheaters can get there...

If the world of Naruto were roughly divided into tiers, the simplest breakdown would look like this.

Genin (Normally worth less than a dog, protagonists excluded.)

Chunin (Supposedly ninja capable of handling things on their own. In practice... a tier that barely gets any screen time.)

Jonin (Supposedly the elite fighting forces of the major hidden villages, few in number. Later on, though, this tier became a dime a dozen.)

Kage (The strongest in each major hidden village. Most Kage genuinely deserved their reputation.)

Super Kage (Powerful fighters far beyond ordinary Kage, capable of easily taking on the Kage Level fighters of the major villages.)

Six Paths (The realm of the Sage of Six Paths. At this level, one person could essentially take on the entire Shinobi World. Fighters below Six Paths level were generally incapable of interfering in battles at this level, barring certain broken exceptions.)

Six Paths, huh... I hope I can reach that realm someday.

Chinatsu took a deep breath and quickly composed herself. Sasuke and Naruto came over, and Sasuke pressed his lips together before defending himself. "Sis, I actually noticed them at the start. My abilities..."

"All right, I know. But your detection skills really do need more training. Don't you want to work on them?"

"Of course I do! I'll train! There's still so much I'm lacking, sis! I'll work hard!"

Sasuke shouted with earnest determination. Standing beside him, Naruto was inspired by his spirit, and a burning desire to grow stronger welled up within him.

"I... I'd like your help too!"

Seeing the serious expressions on the two boys' faces, Chinatsu smiled faintly and answered, "Then let's hurry inside. It's time for special training!"

Chinatsu brought the two boys back into the Uchiha Residence. Before beginning their special training, she took out some "paper" she had bought at a roadside ninja tool shop on her way home.

"This is Chakra Paper. Feed your chakra into it, and the way the paper changes will tell you your chakra nature."

Every ninja had their own chakra natures. These were innate and fixed; only certain outrageously overpowered cheaters could alter that principle later in life.

Chinatsu handed the Chakra Paper to Sasuke and Naruto, though she already knew what their results would be.

Sasuke had lightning and fire.

Naruto had wind.

Of course, later on, one would become proficient in everything except yin release, while the other would become proficient in everything except yang release...

Chinatsu had mainly bought the Chakra Paper to go through the motions. Without it, she couldn't exactly announce their chakra natures out of nowhere.

Keep a low profile~ A low profile~

As she thought that, Chinatsu took a sheet of Chakra Paper for herself and held it between her fingers.

Hmm... if I remember right, this body's original owner had fire, lightning, and wind... Oh well, I might as well test it again. There are more than a few sheets in the pack anyway.

That was all Chinatsu had in mind. She was merely giving it a casual try, never expecting that this little test would uncover a second secret about her body...

"How is this possible... What's going on...?"

Chinatsu stared unsteadily at the Chakra Paper in her hand. The changes it had undergone were different from those produced by lightning, fire, or wind chakra, and Chinatsu... didn't recognize them!
