Inside the Sealing Space.
The Third Hokage stared blankly at the two people before him.
He knew both of them well. One was his student's student, Minato Namikaze, and the other was the previous Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Kushina Uzumaki.
Besides them... an enormous creature stood behind the pair: the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, who had left him with more than a few haunting memories.
In the distance, several figures were eating watermelon and cracking sunflower seeds.
They were Zeff, Kurapika, and King Wolffy.
"So... how badly do you think this old man is going to get beaten?"
Wolffy took a bite of watermelon, then asked with a grin.
"Heh... why doesn't he choose to escape? The Third Hokage should be capable of that."
This time, it was Kurapika who spoke.
Kurapika had a point. As the Ninjutsu Professor, the Third Hokage could easily free his consciousness from the Sealing Space.
Hiruzen Sarutobi's current state was much like being caught in genjutsu. All he needed to do was use his own chakra to force his way out of Kushina Uzumaki's control, and he could leave.
Hearing Kurapika's words, Zeff shook his head. "He won't leave... to be precise, if he has any brains, he won't choose to leave. He'll let Kushina Uzumaki beat him up to vent her anger instead."
"As the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi is certainly no fool. After seeing Minato and Kushina, he'll probably fill in a lot of blanks himself. And, of course... there's Kurama, whose seal has been undone!"
Things went exactly as Zeff had said.
After seeing the two of them and the tailed beast, the Third Hokage's mind raced, frantically piecing together explanations.
Why had Naruto created so many strange things, like the Computer, the Virtual Headset, and even training equipment that impressed him?
