Shisui's scream sent the birds hiding in the bushes scattering. It was easy to imagine the physical and psychological blow that strike of the Five-Finger Flower Picker had dealt him.
"Hey... what are you screaming for? It doesn't even hurt!"
Watching Shisui keep clutching his rear and howling, Naruto spoke with a hint of exasperation.
At Naruto's words, Shisui finally realized that it really didn't hurt much. In fact, he felt rather good all over.
"Huh? It really doesn't hurt. And I feel stronger all over!"
Hearing that, Itachi immediately moved away from Shisui, afraid he might have awakened some unsavory preference.
"You felt it, right? I just injected some Nen into your body! It can enhance your physical abilities for a short time."
"Nen really is amazing..." Shisui marveled, then looked at Itachi. "Itachi, you should try it too! It's a truly unique experience!"
"And... I think I'm starting to get a feel for aura!"
At Shisui's words, Itachi hurriedly shook his head. "I'll pass!"
Then he turned to Naruto. "Naruto, isn't there any other way to let me feel Nen?"
Seeing how nervous Itachi was, Naruto waved the camera in his hand. "If you want to experience Nen, this is the only method I've got."
Itachi naturally didn't believe him, but judging by Naruto's expression, he clearly had no intention of giving up on poking him.
While Itachi was locked in a fierce internal struggle, Shisui stood quietly off to the side, strands of life energy visible to the naked eye streaming out from the surface of his body.
Shisui was thrilled to have successfully released his life energy.
He could feel his entire body entering a heightened state the moment that life energy was released.
That euphoric, floating sensation left Shisui feeling wonderful all over.
