While the massive fan gathering was taking place over there, Little Naruto approached Aizen.
"Hey... did you turn them into Arrancars?"
Aizen shook his head at the question. "No. I merely injected spirit power into their bodies, then Hollowfied them!"
"After their Hollowfication, the three of them became Arrancars on their own. Though... that Third Hokage's transformation doesn't seem to have been very successful!"
Naruto glanced at Hiruzen Sarutobi, who was talking with Jiraiya.
Compared to the First and Second, the Third's Arrancar transformation really was lacking.
If the First and Second's transformations put them on the level of the Espada, then the Third was a Fracción at best...
"Becoming an Arrancar independently is closely tied to control over one's own power and willpower! I suspect that Third simply lacked the strength to complete a perfect transformation..."
At this point, a strange gleam flashed through Aizen's eyes. "Naruto, what do you think? Would you like to try becoming an Arrancar too?"
Naruto was tempted by Aizen's offer. Arrancars did look pretty cool, after all...
But becoming an Arrancar would mean becoming Aizen's test subject. Besides... Naruto had no idea what schemes this guy was cooking up to screw him over, so he flatly refused.
"No thanks! I'll pass on any modifications that make me less than human."
Naruto had already mastered the use of spirit power anyway. Once his spirit power grew stronger, all he would need was an Asauchi, and he could become a Shinigami outright...
"What did you say? Madara's been resurrected! Were all those Tailed Beast Bombs his doing?"
Elsewhere, Hashirama Senju looked utterly incredulous after hearing from Tsunade about Madara Uchiha's resurrection and all the schemes he had laid over the years.
