Weslie and Sparky

Inside the Sealing Space.

"Teacher Zeff... you..."

Naruto looked at Zeff, at a loss for words.

"Ahem..." Zeff cleared his throat twice. "This helped your body remember how the Six Powers feel. That way, you'll be able to learn them faster!"

Naruto: ...

"Also... your body really is rather fragile! You need to eat properly and exercise more!"

Naruto: ...

"Fine... you're the teacher. You win."

And so, Naruto's body spent another two hours soaking in the Healing Machine.

There was an upside, though: Naruto took advantage of that time to play games in the Sealing Space for over two hours.

By the time Naruto's body recovered, it was already past five in the afternoon.

In other words, it was time for the afternoon training session to begin.

Zeff had prepared two props for the afternoon session. Naturally... both were inventions of Wolffy's.

Still... Zeff felt that these two props were perfect for Naruto and Rock Lee's training.

With twice the normal gravity weighing on them again, Naruto and Rock Lee ran to the same training ground they had used that morning.

Once the three arrived, Zeff took out two dolls.

The dolls were only palm-sized, but when Zeff pressed the switches on their backs, they immediately grew to roughly Naruto's size.

Naruto froze when he saw the two dolls.

He knew these two very well. They were Weslie and Sparky from Weslie and Wolffy.

"Pick one each!"

"This afternoon's training is catching sheep."

With that, Zeff pressed a button on each doll's back, opening a small hatch.

Then Zeff took two lunch boxes out of his backpack, removed two enormous grilled steaks, and placed them inside Weslie and Sparky.

"Those two steaks are your dinner tonight. If you can't catch them, you won't get anything to eat!"

At the prospect of going without dinner, both Naruto and Rock Lee grew serious.

Naruto chose Weslie, while Rock Lee picked Sparky.

As training began, the two little sheep took off running, with Naruto and Weslie chasing after them.

The afternoon training was different from the morning session.

In the morning, they only needed to keep jogging under twice the normal gravity, but... catching the sheep in the afternoon required them to sprint under that same gravity.

Fortunately, the two little sheep weren't all that fast. They weren't nearly as ridiculous as the real Weslie and Wolffy.

Just as Naruto was about to touch Weslie, Weslie suddenly accelerated, putting a considerable distance between them again.

"What the hell? What's going on? This sheep even has Nitro Boost?"

While Naruto was puzzling over this, a dull thud sounded nearby. Then he saw Rock Lee go flying from a kick delivered by Sparky.

"What happened?"

As Naruto stood there bewildered, Zeff stepped forward to explain.

"Both little sheep have their own skills, and being chased is what triggers them. While you chase them, they build up rage. Once their rage is full, they can use their skills."

"Weslie's skill is Rocket Start, while Sparky's is Rage Burst."

"As the name suggests, Rocket Start gives him a sudden burst of speed for a short time."

"As for Rage Burst, once Sparky's rage is full, he'll attack on his own, and his strength, speed, and agility will all increase severalfold."

"What the hell... how are we supposed to catch them?"

After hearing Zeff's explanation, Naruto felt that catching these two sheep was practically impossible...

Zeff merely shrugged. "It's simple. Just catch them before their rage fills up!"

Naruto: ...

Naruto was rather speechless, but Rock Lee was fired up.

"Teacher Zeff, I'll definitely catch Sparky..."

With that, Rock Lee charged after him again.

And so, Naruto and Rock Lee chased them for over two hours as the sky gradually darkened.

By now, both Rock Lee and Naruto were exhausted and hungry. After more than two hours of running, neither had the strength to run anymore.

"Now I know how hopeless Wolffy must feel all the time..."

Just then, Zeff walked up to the pair. "Giving up?"

"Ugh..." Naruto sighed. "We just can't catch them..."

Even Rock Lee, who had been so fired up at the start, fell silent.

Rock Lee had it even worse than Naruto, because Sparky beat him up every so often.

"Mm!" Zeff nodded. "Today's training went fairly well. As for dinner, I'll give you another chance. You can turn off the bracelets' gravity and try catching them again. Catch them, and you eat. Fail, and you go hungry!"

Hearing that they could turn off the gravity and try again, Naruto and Rock Lee's eyes lit up.

"Without gravity holding me down, I'll catch them in no time!"

With that, Naruto raised his arm, switched off his Gravity Bracelet, and sprang up from the ground.

Seeing this, Rock Lee also turned off his gravity and jumped to his feet.

This time... Naruto and Rock Lee caught Weslie and Sparky with ease and retrieved the steaks inside them.

To Naruto's surprise, the steaks inside the two little sheep were still warm.

"Whoa... these things even keep food warm."

After that remark, Naruto started eating. He was truly starving.

Beside him, Rock Lee didn't care whether the food was hot or cold. The moment he took out his steak, he dug in.

As the two youngsters began eating, Zeff stood nearby and told them about their upcoming training.

"For the next few months, you'll be doing the same training you did today."

"Running and some basic exercises in the morning, then catching sheep in the evening!"

"Every three days, the Gravity Bracelets will increase the gravity by half a times normal gravity, so you must adjust to your current gravity within those three days!"

Naruto really wanted to say that he was still a child... but when he saw how eager Rock Lee looked, he swallowed his words.

For the next month, Naruto and Rock Lee kept doing the same training.

Since Rock Lee still had to attend school during the day, Naruto used the excuse that his training couldn't get ahead of Rock Lee's, finally giving him the chance to play games whenever he wasn't training.

After a month, both Naruto and Rock Lee were enduring seven times normal gravity. To better adjust to it, both kept their Gravity Bracelets activated as they went about their daily lives.
