"Madara, what did you come to see me for?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Oh! I wanted to say, if you're heading back to the Shinobi World later, take me with you. This world has gotten a little boring! There aren't any strong fighters!"
Naruto nodded, then suddenly seemed to remember something. He walked over to Madara and quietly gave him a few instructions.
Madara nodded. "All right! Once I finish this, I can go back, right?"
"Yeah. Make it quick and clean. She's a pitiful soul, too. Just send her on her way!"
Madara waved and left.
Grisha was baffled by the conversation between Madara and Naruto.
He plopped down on the ground. "Then what should I do next? If everything is being manipulated by Eren and that man named Hajime Isayama, am I... am I wrong no matter what I do...?"
Grisha knew he only had a few days left to live. If he died, the two Titan powers within him would automatically pass to some Eldian newborn.
That child might be born in Eldia, or in the Marleyan Empire...
But wherever the child was born, they probably wouldn't be able to escape the grasp of Eren, who could manipulate the past and future.
Seeing how despondent Grisha was, Naruto stepped forward and patted his shoulder. "Don't worry! Before long, there probably won't be any so-called Chairman Eren anymore!"
Grisha could tell that the Chairman Eren Naruto mentioned was probably that future Eren.
Just as he was about to ask why Naruto would say that, Naruto continued with another question.
"Also... do you want to keep living?"
At the mention of continuing to live, Grisha jumped straight up from the ground.
Survival was a human instinct. Who would want to die if they could keep living?
