In an unnamed forest somewhere in the Land of Fire.
Mechanical Naruto wandered aimlessly through it under Naruto's control.
"Shit! I actually forgot to ask Itachi for a map of the Land of Fire..."
Still, he was only lost. That was hardly enough to stump Naruto.
Naruto casually took a miniature signal generator out of the Space Backpack, picked a random spot, and buried it.
Once that was done, Naruto took a rocket launcher out of the backpack.
This rocket launcher fired not shells, but a small satellite.
With a satellite, he would effectively have a map.
Just as Naruto launched the satellite, a curious voice sounded behind him.
"What a fine work of art!"
The voice that appeared out of nowhere gave Naruto quite a fright.
Mechanical Naruto had a thermal sensor installed inside him, with a detection radius of a hundred meters.
There was no way a living person could enter that range without Naruto noticing.
Naruto turned around and saw a Black Cloak with Red Clouds behind him, its wearer hunched over as though crawling along the ground.
At the sight of him, Naruto finally understood why the thermal sensor hadn't picked him up.
Sasori of the Red Sand had already converted his body into a puppet, so it gave off no heat. His core was the only part with any warmth, and it was so small that being classified as a bird or even some other animal wouldn't have been surprising.
Seeing that Sasori had already turned himself completely into a puppet this early, Naruto really wanted to ask how exactly he had done it!
After all... he had modified his entire body...
Quite a few Naruto fans speculated that Orochimaru had helped Sasori of the Red Sand modify his body.
But Naruto didn't think so.
